You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Romeo! I am big boy with a big and adventurous heart! I love to go out to the park and explore the fields and (my all time favorite), play in the water! I truly believe I was born to swim...I would swim all day if I was allowed to! I love to dive under to get rocks from the bottom of the creeks, and I love playing a good ole' game of fetch, too! I will retrieve anything you throw into the water! I am looking for a home with no kids or cats, however, I do get along with other dogs and enjoy their company! I would love a family who is very outdoorsy and adventurous just like me, and who has strong dog handling experience. I am a smart boy and I can't wait to show you everything that I know! Romeo's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations plus a 6 week basic obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha, IA. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and vet checks, a background check and a home visit.  Please complete an adoption application for consideration at AdoptHope.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Don’t let the Buck stop here...bring him into your family!   6 year old Buck is a male lab mix, he may have some pittie or Chesapeake retriever in him too, but we know this for sure - he’s handsome and deserves the best in a forever family! Before Buck joined Last Hope, he lived with an owner that kept him chained to a dog kennel outside and definitely neglected his needs. Buck was underweight when he joined us, and is now working on gaining muscle and getting into tip top shape!    Buck is a big boy, he loves a good came of catch and will gladly drop the ball and wait patiently while you throw for him. Buck is working on his manners, but his lab personality and zest for life make him sooo easy to love! An ideal home for Buck will have big dog experience, enjoy working with an active dog that loves to learn and please their owner, no cats What the Buck are you waiting for?? Fill out an application and meet this handsome dude today!   Buck’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations plus preventatives. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit. We require that all animals be altered, kept as indoor pets only and current on vaccinations and preventatives.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
