Story
Kaya is about 10 months old and a beautiful lab mix. We rescued her, along with our first dog, but Kaya is very energetic and needs a fenced in yard where she can run. We do not have one. She knows 'sit,' 'come,' 'off/down,' 'lie down,' and 'kennel.' She loves to play with our two kids, but is wary of strangers. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs on walks and could use leash training. Though she enjoys dog parks and does well off leash, she might do best as an only dog. We love her so much, but working full time with no yard for her to play in, is really not fair for her. She deserves a loving home with active owners. Thank you so much!

Athena is a beautiful brindle and white female lab mix.  She was heartworm positive but has already received her treatment and will need to be retested May 13th.  She is crate trained and housebroke.  She has been getting along with another male dog at her foster mom's house. She seems to mind very well and follows a routine. She would love a family of her own and a nice fenced in yard to play in. If you are interested in meeting Athena, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Athena ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Rango is such a sweet dog!  He’s a Lab/Bassett hound mix. He is 1.5 years old he weighs around 35 pounds.   He has a stocky body but cute little legs.  He’s really good with kids of all ages.  Rango does not like cats.  He is so playful with toys and knows how to sit and play fetch with a ball.  We are working with him on walking on his leash.
