Welcome Clyde.  He is a beautiful Lab Retriever weighingabout 50 pounds.  He is aged 2 years bythe vet.   He is mild mannered andwonderful.  He does not jump up, is goodin a crate, good with other dogs and leash trained.  He is bonded to a dog named Bonnie.  They were dumped together and Bonnie waspregnant.  A good Samaritan found themand raised all the puppies till they were old enough for their own foreverhomes.  Now it is time Bonnie and Clydefind their new home.  We would love themto go together so they have reduced fees to allow adoption to be possible.  He will be an easy dog to bring into a newfamily because he already has nice skills and manners.  He is healthy, spayed, up on all his vaccinesand ready for his forever home.  He is inTexas and we can adopt locally.  We canalso work with one of the wonderful transporters that deliver to Washington,Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont and all along the East Coast.  He can be delivered to Vermont for thewonderful Canadians who could travel for pickup.  The adoption fee and transport for both dogs are550.  That comes out to 225 per dog andthat is transported via a ground transport to the areas we post in.  What a steal for such AMAZING pups.    Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 oremail to maudreyh@aol.com foran application.   See hiscute video!!

Just look at this face and tell me your heart doesn't melt- Born at our shelter, with 9 siblings, Prince is just the sweetest boy. Prince was the little guy of the group so he quickly became the favorite of the shelter staff. He is very affectionate once he warms up to you and is very smart. Prince is a good boy who loves to play with other dogs and toys and likes water. His favorite thing to do is give you hugs and try to lay across your lap while gazing into your eyes. He is a big love bug that would like nothing better than to have someone he can trust and be his best friend. He is about 60 lbs, has long legs and a great smile. Come visit this sweet boy and you will melt. Was also call him our little Romeo.

Dumped on the side of the road in a box with litter mates the puppies were lucky to be seen by a kind samaritan. They were covered in fleas, ticks and ringworm, dehydrated and scared; but appeared to be healthy. They were extremely fearful of a human touch but have came along way with some TLC. Truman is still very shy, playful with dogs, very curious and still learning to trust all humans. Truman is the sweetheart who just needs a little encouragement and confidence but would make the best friend or faithful companion. If interested in meeting him please give us a call.
