Story
TJ the great! TJ is a fun, goofy, outgoing dog ready for a home! He has a lot of energy like a lab. He has the body of a Labrador and the head of a pittie. We do not know if he is cat friendly. We do know he has been tested with other dogs and has been respectful of them but is not currently living in a home with other dogs. He is currently in boarding. Poor baby! We can't wait to get him into a home. TJ has a special talent- he can carry two toys in his mouth at a time! He is a total toy dog. He can play fetch for hours. He also LOVES the water!! He will find a puddle to lay in, if that's his only option. He absolutely loves frolicking around in the yard. For this reason we would like to find TJ a family with a house rather than an apartment. He is fully vetted and seems to be in amazing health. He is at the perfect weight and built for adventure. While TJ does have a lot of energy, with proper exercise he will calm down and make an awesome household companion as well, for Netflix or Hulu moments. TJ is a really cool dog. I fell in love with him the moment I met him. His joy is contagious. He will light up a room; or a park! He's the type of dude who will definitely need a toy box. He was interested in my two year old son and fairly respectful of him, seeing as he was just released from his small boarding room and finally given the chance to run. TJ does sometimes sooo his kennel for the 16 hour wait overnight but during the day when he is given the chance to be let out, he prefers to go potty outside.
we are looking for an experienced dog person to adopt TJ, and someone who likes to exercise who could bring a dog along. Either that, or somewhere with a large fenced yard and another dog to run with. Adoption fee is 500, it includes all age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, transport, and the first few months of heartworm prevention and additional deworming if needed.
