Skylar has lived a confined life and spent the majority of her time in a garage because she did not like her owners kitties. With that being said, Skylar will not be adopted into a home with cats or other small animals! Skylar was a little shy when she first arrived to the shelter, but has opened up so much! Skylar is happy and energetic. She will thrive best with regular exercise and would love the opportunity to play with lots of toys! Skylar has been friendly towards other dogs in the shelter and often tries to make friends through the fence. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Skylar is potty trained, but will need time to adapt to her new home considering she has never really lived inside a home. She walks great on a leash and knows a couple basic cues as well. It is unknown if Skylar has been around children so we encourage adopters to bring their little ones with them when they come to meet her! Skylar is a very good girl who is just hoping to get a fresh start.

Story
My best friend, Kenai, was purchased from Greatland Retrievers and has parental national champion retriever bloodlines. He is 30 months old and has developed a foot problem requiring veterinary care which I can no longer afford. He is very loving, energetic, great with kids, other dogs and cats and fully house trained. He loves to play and will retrieve anything you throw for him. Not having him in my life will be extremely difficult, but if you can undertake his medical care, you will have an amazing friend for life. Thank you.

Angus is in need of a new forever home. He was originally adopted from Alaska Bully Rescue a couple of years ago. He was dog friendly when he was originally adopted but has started showing issues with dog aggression. Because of that he does need to be an only dog in the home. He is a sweet boy who would make a great companion for someone.

If social gatherings are not your cup of tea and you are your own best company Daisy might be the dog for you. Daisy is loyal and delightful to her people. She loves to play ball and relishes a kong. Daisy does not think highly of other dogs (might we say she thinks they stink!). If you have a quiet home with NO other pets then please consider Daisy. She will be your devoted and protective companion and will warm your heart and side. we're recommending a household that doesn't have a lot of activity and people coming and going. She has great house manners and rides well on the car.
