Story
Oscar has an awesome sponsor who sponsored his adoption fee as well as 6 weeks in home training to help Oscar thrive with a new family. This boy is a beautiful brindle boy with good energy. He loves to play but can settle down quick for some snuggles and a nap. He LOVES people and forgets sometimes that he isn't a tiny lap dog. He LOVES balls and walks well on a leash. He is eager to learn and is very treat motivated. He gets along better with female dogs but would do best as an only pet with an active mom or dad that can help him continue to be the best boy ever. Does this sound like the perfect match? Please say yes and fill out an adoption application for OSCAR: http://providingforpaws.org/adoption-and-foster-forms.html

Story
Oscar resides at his foster mom's home. Please e-mail info@sheltertohome.com for an application, more information or to set up an appointment to meet him. Oscar is a very distinguished 10 year old gentleman with many great years ahead. He is great with dogs and cats but prefers older dogs and he stays to himself! Potty trained. Crate trained but loves the bed at night. If left home alone I feel playpen lockup might be better! He will mark out of spite if you left him alone. He scrapes his nose in the crate trying to be free but is getting better everyday! Loves walks, blankets, and butt scratches. He has a few spots that are sensitive to touch but getting better everyday.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

Story
I rescued her from the shelter. I bit off to much to handle. She is a great dog when someones with her. The issue is when shes left alone she gets a little destructive and she likes to pee in the house when shes mad. I simply dont have the time but a family who did would be a good fit.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Annie, another of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me kennels. Annie is a Black Lab mix, she is just under a year old, and she weighs about 48 pounds; she has a beautiful short haired coat and big brown eyes. Annie has a very sweet disposition and she very much enjoys interacting with people of all ages. She loves spending time in the outdoor play yard and enjoys playing with her toys. But she can get bored quickly and come back to you for more attention if she isn’t being kept entertained. She is still a puppy so we’re working on curbing her play-biting and jumping. Annie tested negative for heart worm last week and she will be given a monthly preventative. She is going to the vet tomorrow morning for her shots and microchip placement. Annie is scheduled to be spayed a week from this Thursday. If you would like to meet Annie, please message Dan on the Mikey & Me FB page. Applications for her adoption can be submitted at happydaysdogandcatrescue.org. Please consider sharing this post with your friends and family to help us find a safe forever home and family for Annie.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, please let me introduce myself, my name is Sarah and I am a Lab/Jack Russell Terrier. I am house trained and crate trained, and love to go on walks and sniff around a securely fenced backyard.  Did I tell you that its me that pick all the tomatoes from the plants in the yard ? I am also spayed and have had all of my shots. Sarah was badly treated by her first human family, and she finds it hard to trust new acquaintances. She needs an owner that can give her guidance (and plenty of treats) in situations when she feels insecure. After meeting a trainer Sarah have improved a lot and she responds to her special verbal command.  A training class would be a great adventure for Sarah and her new family. She will excel and perform as an A-student, she likes to learn and is eager to please. Building a relationship with Sarah will be time well spent, once she has overcome her insecurity and fear she is a GREAT active, loyal, and loving dog.  Please come and meet me,  I need is a chance to find my permanent home. Older children only pleas e.    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. 'Won't you please pay attention to me? I just want to play!' Meet Prince, an active 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever / German Shorthair Pointer mix. Poor Prince was confined to an apartment with no socialization and little attention because the family lost interest in him. LDDR agreed to take Prince and find the right home for him. He is now receiving lots of playtime and TLC in his foster home while waiting for a forever home. Prince is your typical busy dog that will do best in a home with an adopter who is willing to work with him to teach him some proper manners. He can be a bit wary of unknown people and would need slow introductions to someone he doesn't know. A fenced yard would be ideal to play ball, as that’s his favorite thing to do. Prince walks well on a leash except when a car goes by. He currently has a desire to chase moving cars. He is perfectly house trained and will bark at the door to let you know he needs to go out, and he will bark at the door to come back in, too. Prince is good with most dogs when properly introduced. He seems to ignore cats, but has never lived with one.&#226&#128&#139 For more information or questions, email Tim at tmb611@msn.com. Click here to watch a video of Prince.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
