Story
Introducing Maverick JC Dis is my gimme dem tacos face. I too like tacos. What??? That is too a taco. Pita bread counts as taco, I know a taco when I seed one. C’mon, gimme it. *Foster Mom gives him one niblet of chicken from her pita sandwich* See I knew it, this is chicken taco. I knew it. Tastes jus like chicken taco. *Meanwhile, the cats in the other room have a little discussion “goodness, dogs are such idiots, everyone knows a taco versus a pita bread, he probably thinks hotdogs are tacos too. But I still appurrrrve of this dog, he is a nice dog despite being completely unfurrrrmiliar with obvious diffurrrrence between food groups.* Foster Mommy calls me Maverick. I am 7 months old in March and around 30 lbs, so I might grow to 50 something pounds. At my Foster Home, I met some kitties and they like me, they like me so much. Foster Mommy gibs me toys, but I really prefer playing with my canine buds over solitaire with a toy. My favorite is playing outside in the yard with my furry siblings. Foster Mommy says you don’t have to know the difference between a taco and a chicken pita sammich to be a good boy. I know good boy stuff like be nice to dogs, be nice to cats, be nice to the rugs and don’t pee pee on dem, don’t pee pee on rugs, or dogs or cats for that matter. Foster Mommy also says I am a good mid energy doggie, not too wild. I am part Lab and maybe part Hound, I have a chocolate liver colored coat with ranch dressing stripes…yummy, I am yummy. I love food. I will do anything for a food. Most Labs are very food muttivated and I am not throwing the stereotype off. I also love doing walkies and making all the friends. Everybuddy is invited to be my friend. Be sure to bring the tacos when you come over. Basics: Maverick JC GDR-A-3734- male, 7 months (in March 2020), will likely be med/large maybe 50lb range, Lab/Coonhound mix, chocolate subtle brindle coat, good with dogs, good with cats, good with kids, food motivated, mid energy, friendly, playful, pretty good on leash/potty/crate training, goof ball, great all around dog. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our puppies are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested if not started on heartworm preventatives early, and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $500 for puppies under a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and can be emailed to adopter prior to arrival if desired.. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. Story
Introducing Sven JuM A Swedish hunk. Just like Sven from that epawsode of Golden Girls. Rose’s young cousin Sven arrives from Sweden by way of St. Olaf to the United States to meet his bride. Comic hijinx ensued and yada yada Blanche goes on a date and then Sven dumps her for his young bride to be. It was enuff to make you laugh your fluehuebertuben off. I am not actually from Sweden, I am from San Antonio by way of San Antonio. But the hunky blonde part is totally a fact. I am a medium energied golden good boy maybe made of some conglomuttration of Shepherd and yellow Labrador. I am between 4 and 5 years old and weighed only 52 pounds upawn arrival but they think I will bulk up to the 60’s once I eat all the flenderhooven. I am great meeting other dogs and know that the social convention is a quick sniffy whiff to the tutenbobels, cheeks of the butt, in actual St. Olaf termuttnology. I have a happy warm sun shiney dispawstion. I can really rock a “I am on my way to Florida for the rest of my life shirt” but is it to retire or surf, you will never know, it’s an enigmutt. If you have been looking to adopt a cool smooth youngish dude, with a nice medium energy level, enuff to play with the young dogs, but not enuff to drive my owner nuts. I am the Sven for you. So do you wanna share a vanskapkaka: a friendship cake, a real word too, with me? Basics: Sven JuM GDR-A-3717- male, 4 years 6 months, 52 lbs but should be closer to 60 lbs now that he is getting proper feeding, Shepherd/Lab mix, good with dogs, yellow, mid energy, smart, happy, playful, really a terrific all around male dog. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Story
Hey, my name’s Roc Star and I’m a happy, playful and loving boy! I love to play and run around in the yard and go for walks! My foster mom’s gonna put the kibosh on that though cause I’ll be going through Heartworm treatment and won’t be available for adoption for awhile. In the meantime, I’m gonna dream about chasing bunnies and finally having a forever home!  Roc Star is a Lab/Pointer mix, weighs 51 lbs and was born approximately 7/27/2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Roc Star is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
