Story
Hi! My name is Jet! I am a 6 year old male black Lab still looking for my home! My owner dumped me on the streets where I have been for a long time and was a husband to many dog wives. I was brought into foster care once I learned to trust my Samaritans. I am VERY SWEET, easy going, gentle and LOVE attention from my female humans. I love walks and walk well on a leash. I am shy and timid with strangers and children. I would love a home with a moderate active middle aged or just recently active, calm, patient, retired couple without breed or weight restrictions. I would enjoy a home that is fenced where my owners can take me for walks and let me hang out with you as you do chores/work in the yard. I will need continued socialization and will do best in a home without any other animals or children. I bond to women faster than men. You can contact us directly at info@dogdiggityrescue.com , or fill out and application at either https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-ls-dog-diggity/ or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other This is a courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
Sable is fairly loyal and an amazing dog. She needs daily exercise and I am no longer able to physically provide that. She likes dog parks but is a little apprehensive at times but overall gets along well with other dogs. She has a propensity for shadows and light reflections and she can get pretty intense at chasing them or just sit for long periods starring at them. She likes to sleep at the foot of my bed and be covered up with her own blanket, she likes attention and affection before going to sleep. There is not a toy that I have found that she has not been able to tear apart LOL... she loves them but also loves getting to the insides even more.

Story
Jessie has been with her best buddy Buzz for her whole life. She has lived with us for the past five years after we adopted them from some friends. We are trying to find them a loving home that can give them all the attention they deserve. Jessie is goofie and loving. She's not the most cuddly dog but she loves to give shakes, get head scratches and chase a ball. She is very sweet and loves to give Buzz kisses.

Buzz is about 10 years old, but is still young at heart. He loves running around the back yard, cuddling, and wrestling with Jessie! We adopted both dogs about 5 years ago and are looking to give them a good home. We are just about to have our second child and want to make sure that the doggos get all the love and attention they deserve.

Story
Meet Elisa JuM Name: My name is Elisa, but my friends call me “That Red Dog up front” or sometimes just Red Dog. Theme Song: Don't Start Now by Dua Lipa. I felt those lyrics, y’all. It should be an anthem for doggies that get left by humans. History: God’s Dogs Rescue picked me up from the city shelter. I was just sitting in my cage feeling worried, concerned, the WTF lines on my face were turnt way up. WTF. Where’s The Family! I was patiently waiting for my family to come reclaim me. Surely they would, they cared enuff to put a purple collar on me. Scents my family never came to get me after my reclaim window was up, I went home with the God’s Dogs Rescue lady. Age/Weight/Breed: I am about 2-3 years old. I am about 55 pounds on a good day, and by good day, I mean a very good girl day where I gots lots of treats in my belly for doing all the good girl things. I am a pretty red and white doggie. Three Words to Describe: At the shelter they described me as: bashful, sad, and scared. Fudge, fiddlesticks and fuh-heck! You try being in a concrete cage wondering WTF. You would be one half of a mopey dwarf clan too. Once I got to rescue camp and felt safe. My new three words became SMART, GOOD LISTENER, and LOVE BUG. What The Volunteers Say About Her: Red Dog, as we call her, is an adventurer at heart. She seems to be house broken and crate trained. We think she might have been an indoor dog at one time. She is great on a leash and loves exploring and car rides. She could use some leash practice because she does tend to guide you where she wants to go. She just really loves to take all the new smells in. Silver Lining: Every gloomy cloud has a silver lining. I was feeling down in the dumps that no one reclaimed me, but come to find out, I tested positive for heartworms. That means my first owners might have cared enuff to give me a purple collar, but they didn’t care enuff to give me monthly heartworm prevention. It is best that GDR took me instead. The Dogtor gave me injections for my heartworms. The injections have magic medicine that will kill the worms and make me cured. Thank you Dogtor. *shakes her finger at everyone else* Remember to give your dogs the monthly pill. Pills are much nicer than injections! Cheaper too. Be cheap. Favorite Rub Spot: I am so basic on rub spot. The belly of course. I will roll over whenever and whereever. Ideal Home: I am great with dogs and people in general. I am very inquisitive and always ready for adventure. I want a family that enjoys taking their doggie to new places to collect new smells and sniffs. Honestly, I would be great in a home with dogs or I could fly solo, as long as, I have my peeps to spend time with me. I love my peeps. Cliff’s Notes Version: Elisa JuM- female, 2-3 years, 55 pounds, Shepherd/Terrier mix, red/white, good with dogs, enjoys exploring, happy, loves people, curious, minds well, medium energy, obedient, seems to have crate/house/leash training already, had heartworms and received treatment GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website. God's Dogs will remain as a permanent back up registration for safety sake.
