Story
Max is an awesome dog! He’s 7 and as smart as they come. He is extremely high energy and needs lots of walks or a big yard to play in + activities. He’s been with our family for 6 years and this is tough but he doesn’t fit our lifestyle. He is a very smart boy - he knows sit, lay down, shake, shake other paw, wave, hug, crawl, and “bang bang” (play dead). He can learn a new trick in under half an hour if you have good treats! He’s a spoiled boy. Up to date on all shots, gets good treats, grain-free food, has a yard to run around in. He loves activities (walks, football in the yard, hide and seek) and his biggest love is also his biggest flaw - he LOVES company. He will jump all over our guests when they come in the door and I haven’t successfully trained him to not do that yet. He is a party animal - he loves people and get-togethers. He’s completely housebroken but has an accident ~1x a year when excited. He has an adorable snaggle tooth that comes out from time to time too.

Story
Kodi is a 6 year old (in March2020) plott hound. We got her from a Humane Society in Branson MO in 2014 when she was about 4 months old. She is the most well mannered, calm, kindest dog and has been a great addition to our family. In December 2019 she suffered from a FCE. She became paralyzed and is slowing regaining strength. She has regained feeling in both hind legs and her tail. She is still unable to stand and walk. She gets around on her own in the house using her front legs. Outside we use a wheel chair, or simply use a towel as a sling and support her backend while she walks on her with her front legs. Her bladder does have to manually expressed four times a day, and it easily done when using a sling. Kodi requires a lot of support and attention due to her disability. Her long term prognosis is still unknown. She may one day stand and walk again, only time will tell.
