BUT HOW SO CAJOLEUR when I want to)  I have a few things I'd like to tell humans about me:  1. I need to be the only feline to rule your home - I won't tolerate the sight of another cat in MY house.  2. I will enhance your luxurious and refined home décor by lounging on the couch, the back of a chair or the fireplace mantel. 3. I will let you know WHEN to pet me, WHERE to pet and HOW LONG  you can pet me. 4. I am rather proud of my puuurfect litter habits. If you agree to obey by THE rules set above we will be doing just fine.So contact my staff at (214)454-9395 or complete our online application at northtexascatrescue.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR , contact us at ntcr@northtexascatrescue.com.

Story
Candy is just as sweet as her name. This tiny girl, less than four pounds, is solid white with blue eyes. She is so tiny she is actually a bit fragile. No small children. No dogs. She would do better in a quieter, easy-going home. We will be very particular where this sweet, tiny girl goes. She really is not special needs even though she is a tripod. The only thing she needs is a short litterbox. If you are interested in this tiny girl, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. She is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Her adoption fee is $250. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Story
Max is a 3 year old Brown Tabby with white Persian. Max was surrendered for litter box issues, but we have not seen those here. He did have a urinary tract infection when he arrived and that has been treated. We will be looking for an experienced Persian adopter in his case And one that will be willing to keep an eye on his litter box habits and contact us if help is needed. Max gets along well with other cats but would also be very happy in his own home without other cats. He has been around children and we would send him into a home with older children. If you are interested in adopting him please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $275. Story
Alex is a cute 4 year old Cream Doll-Faced Persian. He is a lovely boy, easy-going and calm. He is a bit of a pig pen since his coat is a challenge to maintain but he is a really good sport about it whether its grooming or shaving that he needs. Such a sweet boy! He gets along well with other cats and would do well in any home. If you are interested in adopting this precious boy, email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. Story
Lady showed up on our front porch very skinny. We gave her some cat food and she stuck around, resulting in her having kittens on our front porch. We have kept them in our garage until the kittens we’re old enough to send to their forever homes but now we need to find a home for the mama. We love her, she’s very sweet, but we can’t keep her. She can be a little moody, which is why we wouldn’t pair her with other pets or kids. She loves to sit on laps and cuddle and is very vocal.

Story
I got Frankenstein in 2012 when she was a year old. I picked her up essentially wild and it wasn't until almost a month later I found out she was pregnant. I decided to keep one of her kittens, Araya, and the two have lived together with me ever since. Frank is a very talkative cat and is very loving. She enjoys belly rubs and being held. She is typically very temperate in her mood and will tolerate a lot without resorting to claws or teeth. I think she and her daughter would be best in a home as the only pets, as other animals can stress them out and they don't seem to get along well with other cats. Frank has never been bad with children that I've seen, but my new son is extremely allergic to them and so I have to find a new home. I love them so much and it kills me to let them go.

I am the 2nd oldest and my mother is a rescue from the streets. I love to watch birds at the window, go sunning when the blinds are open (My cat dad sleeps during the day).
