Story
I inherited Jazzy after my Grandmother passed away as none of my family would take her however I am no longer able to keep her as she is aggressive toward my other cat. She needs a home with no other animals and no small children. She seems to get stressed easily and has anxiety around a lot of people. She can be sweet if it is just her and you but it takes her a bit to warm up to people.

NAME:  Joan Fontaine AGE/GENDER:  12 year old female BREED/HAIR LENGTH:  Domestic Long Hair WEIGHT:  11lbs LOCATION : In Foster LITTER BOX TRAINING:  Great OTHER CATS:  Joan is not used to foreign cats, and did not get along with her sister Olivia. However she showed no hostility to the other cats in foster. DOGS:  TBD CHILDREN:  Cat respectful children, 8 and older. ADOPTION DONATION:  $150 (or $275 with another kitten) HEALTH:  Joan is spay/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. HISTORY:  Joan and her sister Olivia were surrendered to us after living in the same home for 12 years. They had their front paws declawed at some point. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find Joan a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME:  Joan is pretty outgoing with people and enjoys lots of attention. She is vocal when she wants something, and is a bit of a princess. She is super fluffy and needs gentle assistance grooming her magnificent fur.  ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo does not have a traditional shelter location, but instead, utilizes private foster homes which care for the animals individually, in a home environment, until a "furever" home is found. Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment" Dog Daycare & Training Studio in Redmond, WA which is a day-use facility and does not hold kennels of adoptable animals. The dogs there are owned animals who come to the facility while their families are at work and school so they can play and socialize in a safe environment. We dub this service our "Year-round" fundraising program which helps us support our rescue animals and the $15,000/ month vet bills we incur. This Studio location does have an Adoptable Cat Lounge, where cats may live until adoption, which is the exception to any aforementioned rules. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application so we can get you started on the journey to finding a new, furry friend! Once you have been approved to adopt, then we can set up a meeting with the animal you have been matched with. For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. Thank you for considering adopting a cat in need! Meow, The Motley Zoo Crew

Story
My husband an I adopted Gardenia when she was four years old, and she is now seven. She’s a shy and sweet girl who really loves to be brushed and to get chin scritches. She’s very lazy, mostly just lounges around all day. We unfortunately cannot keep her anymore as she does not get along with other animals or young children. Our family is growing and we don’t want her to feel scared by the new things that will be entering into our lives, as her comfort and well being is very important to us. She gets scared by new and loud things very easily, unfortunately we don’t know why as we don’t have any history of her life before we adopted her.

Story
Denise (long-haired) and Nutella (short-haired american) are 8 year old female cats, and have grown up together with us since they were 2 weeks old. Unfortunately, I have developed a medical/allergic condition within our family and no longer can have the cats in house because of this condition. We have made the hard decision to find another permanent home for them.
