Story
Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our kitty's once they are adopted. We transport all of our cats via Alaskan Airlines. All of our animals reside in foster homes, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. We know adopting a pet sight unseen can be daunting, so we are happy to share additional videos, photos and even let you Facetime with the kitteh. We are primarily an equine rescue, but do assist with a small number of dogs and cats annually. We are happy to provide references from previous adopters if needed. Thank you for wanting to adopt! The adoption fee for all out of state adoptions is $38. This includes spay/neuter, FELV/FIV test, HW negative test, UTD on shots, microchipped, UTD on flea/tick/HW prevention, and a health cert from our vet. Transport via Alaskan Air is $150, plus tax. Mellow.....yawn, oh, sorry mates, I was just waking up from a little catnap. I am a gorgeous ginger fellow, bearing the moniker of the world's most famous royal ginger :) The original Prince Harry and I share the same personality, too; we are both regal in our bearing but fun loving and happy!! I am only 1 year young and come in as a light weight at a slight 9.8 pounds (this might change as I mature!) My luxurious, rust orange coat is short in length and extremely soft and petable (yes, I just made up that word!! A royal dictate...HAHA) My beautiful round shaped eyes are the same hue as my coat...the monochromatic look is always so chic!! I enjoy the companionship of humans, other cats, and friendly dogs. I am a laid back and easy going guy!! I enjoy being inside, but enjoy a quick cat nap in the sun or a turn around an enclosed porch. I love being scritched behind my ears and snuggling on the couch. I am also quite a good conversationalist, if I do say so myself!! If a hooman is talking to me, I will carry on quite a dialog with them!! I enjoy hooman companionship and interaction so much!! I love my foster mummy very much and she loves me, but she has a life full of foster dogs and work. We have both decided that I need to find a forever home of my own. If you are searching for a stately feline companion that is the cat's meow, look no further I am your bloke!!

Story
Meet our newest local cat, Johnny B! This stunning boy is looking for a special home. Johnny B was found abandoned in a commuter parking lot a month ago and a kind family took him in. We know he had at home at some point since he was already neutered. He was understandably cautious at first, but warmed up given some time and they hoped to keep him but unfortunately he did not acclimate well to living with their dog. Johnny B can be affectionate on his terms but is also independent. He will do best in a home with no young children and no dogs, but may consider other feline companions as long as he can be the dominant kitty. Johnny B loves to play with feather toys and enjoys his treats! He is estimated to be two years old and is fully vaccinated. We hope to find him a quiet home where he can continue to blossom. He is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting fill out an application at www.packleadersrescue.com
