Story
Shooting Star and his brother Bottle Rocket were turned into a rural Virginia rescue when they were very young. Born in March 2019, these cute boys are now ready to find their forever homes! Shooting Star is a buff tabby male with medium hair. He's a little more shy than his brother Bottle Rocket and can bit startled by sudden movements or loud noises. However, he does enjoy petting sessions on his foster dad's lap, and often gauges situations based on what his brother does. His ideal forever home would be either as a single pet, or with an outgoing feline friend that he can stick with. Shooting Star would probably enjoy a dog-free home without children. Shooting Star is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FELV. To learn more about Shooting Star, please contact Heather at cat-coordinator@paw-rescue.org Come and meet our PAW cats at one of our weekend adoption shows at local area pet stores. All the cats don't attend every adoption show so if you are interested in meeting a particular cat send in an email to make arrangements. PLEASE NOTE: We only adopt our animals to locations within one to two hours of the MD/DC/VA metropolitan area ##469914##

Story
Roja is a chuck of kitty cat love who is happiest when he's with his favorite humans. He's a big boy - 15 lbs solid cat - and has classic orange tabby good looks. We think he's about 3 years old. He seems to get along with other cats, we're not sure about dogs.  Roja is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FELV. To learn more about Roja, please contact Heather at cat-coordinator@paw-rescue.org   During this time of social distancing, we are not holding in-person adoption events or meet and greets. Instead, we can arrange for a virtual Facetime or Zoom meeting where you can see the cat live on video in their foster home. Should you then decide to move forward with adoption, we will be happy to honor a 2 week trial period before the adoption is final.  ##610473##
