Animal Profile: Diva is an estimated 3-year-old 14 lb female Chihuahua mix; we have just rescued her from Stanislaus Modesto animal shelter where she was picked up as a stray. She joined our rescue on 3/22 and we'll add more info as she gets settled in. Seattle Foster Update: Diva just arrived yesterday but she's already amazing! More updates to come. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in California and will be available for adoption in Seattle, once evaluated in a loving foster home in the greater Seattle area.

Animal Profile: Kimmie is adorable ~1-2 year old chihuahua mix who was just rescued from a high kill shelter in CA. She has the cutest perked ears! Kimmie was rescued along with her kennel companion, and would likely do best with another dog buddy in the home. Seattle Foster Update:  Kimmie is a sweetheart. She does best with other dogs who are more laid back--but today she did lots of running and playing with my resident dog! Up until now she was content with just going for walks! She has yet to meet kids. We are working on leash training and she loves to explore outside. Kimmie is making good progress on house training and crate training. She is beginning to go to the door and paw when she needs out. She knows SIT and we are working on PLACE and CRATE. She's very food and attention motivated so the training has been going well. She does sometimes bark in her crate, and we are working on that, but for this reason she wouldn't do well in an apartment or condo.   She is a big snuggler and likes to give kisses. She takes treats well and for the most part ignores my cats. She will do best in a calm, quiet forever home with another dog. Animal Profile:  Aero is a 4 year old smooth coat chihuahua and possible dachshund mix. He will be joining us from California on 3/29. Our volunteer transporter reports that Aero walks well on a leash, he's outgoing and social, and is an easy dude! We will post more info as we get to know him! Seattle Foster Update: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $475 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization.
