Story
Buenos Dias, mi amigos! My name is Boss and I am looking for a family to share my life with. All my dog friends call me bossy. I have to remind them that I am not bossy, I am the Boss! I get along best with dogs my size, they respect my authority. If you want to know a secret, I am really afraid of big dogs, but dont tell them that please.
When there are multiple people at my foster families house, I will run from room to room to make sure everyone is safe, and to check on what they are doing. There are a lot of responsibilities that come with being in charge. When I get a break from patrol, I love to play fetch. I am very fast, and take this game very seriously.
Hmmm…What else can I tell you about me? I was born 12/09/2012; My original owner and I were very happy together for many years. Sadly, my owner became very ill, and their family came and took me to the shelter. They said that my owner was too sick to take care of me any longer.
I was incarcerated for over 2 months; I didnt want to interact with any of the visitors, I just laid on my bed and shivered. I was heartbroken.
I love all people, but have a soft spot in my heart for people of retirement age. They have the best laps, dont you think? I would do best in a home with no young children, I can be particular about sharing my toys, and my food. My foster mom says that I have been her favorite chihuahua foster EVER because I have such a charming personality. Everyone loves me! I LOVE meeting new people, and dressing up. We go to dinner at restaurants a lot, and sometimes I even get to go to work! I am a social butterfly and am a hit at all the parties I attend. With a wardrobe like mine though, what would you expect?
Foster mom says that I am a very confident little guy and a great companion. I weigh 8 lbs, am neutered, micro chipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She also wants my adoptive family to know that she loves me very much and is going to want updates on me in your new home.
Until my pawfect furever home is found, I am living on foster mom’s ranch with 9 other dogs, lots of horses, cats, and chickens. All the dogs here understand that I am the social director, so we dont have any problems! I go on a 2 mile walk with foster mom every day (off leash) and I stay right by her side.
When we are at the house, I sit on foster mom’s lap when she is working on her laptop…or watching TV…or reading the newspaper. Really, anytime I can snuggle on her lap works for me. It is so nice to be cuddled and loved again. I follow my foster mom everywhere…into the barn, up and down the hallway, into the kitchen, into her closet, I am even great in the car! Please consider adopting me, I am a really great dog that would love my own human lap.
