**I HAVE SOME SPECIAL NEEDS*** Trust me, it's nothing that can't keep me from loving and playing and snuggling but I want you to know...I was the victim of a shooting and have a piece of the shrapnel sitting on my spine. My hero tried everything but it cannot be removed. When I'm in the house I need to wear a diaper or a belly band to prevent me from dripping. But look at my smile. None of this bothers me. I am a 3+ year old 52 pointer hound mix who just loves to have attention from anyone who will give it. I like toys, treats, playing with my foster doggies, and especially people. I am the kind of dog who is very flexible, and by flexible I don't mean I can do splits (boy would that be hard) I mean I would be fine chilling at home or cruising town on a leash or taking a nice car ride. I chase chickens so keep me away from them. Please say YES!! I am up to date on my vaccines, crate trained, and good on a leash......

Meet Avalon! Avalon is believed to be a pointer mix around 6 months old. She grew up in a cage until she could barely fit anymore and then was moved to a chain that she could barely move on. It’s truest sickening what people believe to be okay, but she’s safe and has free roam now! Avalon is still very nervous and has no idea how to be a dog, she’s currently being fostered in Mississippi and watching the other dogs interact with the foster. She’s slowly coming around and asking for pets here and there but still has a little bit to go. Once she realizes that no one will harm her or mistreat her ever again, she will flourish into this amazing girl! She LOVES to play with her foster siblings! So we believe another fursibling would be best for Avalon. Avalon is UTD and will be spayed before her journey north! She will be ready for adoption October 10th, 2019. Zeke AKA Zeke Zeke, Baby Boo, Ezekial, Smarty Pants, Baby Zeets, etc. As you can tell, Zeke is adored by his foster home. They say that the more nicknames you have the more you are loved. Well Zeke is truly loved by his foster home and it shows. Zeke’s primary objective other than making humans happy, is to be adopted by his new family!! Zeke is a rare dog that will always be by your side, give you unconditional love and be the most loyal friend you could ever ask for. Whether you want to cuddle on the couch for a Netflix marathon or tell me what a good boy I am, I am game for whatever. I guess you can see that I am pretty easy going. One of my favorite things to do besides hang with my humans is push my water bowl all around the yard. It’s a new game I made up and it’s lots of fun. I also love to play keep away. It’s an old game that has been around for years and years but I like old school type of things. Last but not least: My journey has been long and not the easiest, but I do take it in stride. I am all about my humans and do want a home all to myself and my family without other dogs. Young children make me nervous so a home without them is required as well. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I can’t imagine there is not the perfect family out there just for me.
