She was adopted through another rescue into a home, but sadly the home was not great to her. She never received vet care and was neglected and not given the attention she deserved. They were going to dump her in a shelter, but somehow it got back to her previous foster home that long time ago. Buffy has a cherry eye that is getting fixed TODAY that she unfortunately had for years. She is fully vetted also. She loves walks, she is housebroken and crate trained. She really just wants to be loved, something she never really had in her past life. She does take time to warm up to people, she was never socialized. She needs a day or two, and really prefers women over men. She is good with other dogs, but very dominant with treats, so she gets treats separately just in case she drops hers and someone else tries to snatch it. OH yeah, she does not like that! LOL. She is like a puggle type dog, aproximately 35 lbs. She has lost some weight since she has been here, which is good. We just want her to finally get the life she deserves. She really is low maintenance. Loves her person once she knows them, Loves walks, loves outside, loves car rides, loves treats, completely housebroken, good with other dogs. I'm a super friendly easy going happy go lucky guy ...alert and peppy but medium energy. Sometimes I'd rather spend time at home hanging on the couch rather than going for a long walk so I'm a perfect city dog. I love other dogs and cats and young kids! Skye came to us as a tiny puppy on the verge of death when she was about 5 weeks old. Nursed back to health and adopted at 14 weeks old, we thought she was in a forever home. We were notified that her adopter (after 8 months) was attempting to give her away through various social media sites and we stepped in and reclaimed Skye. She arrived underweight, fearful, and shy. We are so excited to be able to help this happy boy find his forever home! Kyle is a quirky boy and doesn't always make the best first impression, so you need to give him time with new people in a new environment to show you who he really is, Once he warms up he is incredibly friendly and affectionate. A real snuggly nugget of joy! He has such a great personality and often stands on his hind legs and does a little dance when he wants your attention (or a taste of your dinner!)! He's an absolutely adorable little guy with the people who are part of his inner circle. So, if you are looking for a companion who will think of you (or a group of you) as his everything but non necessarily want another friend in the world ....you found your guy!
