Story
Misty is a very sweet dog. Unfortunately, she is more vocal than can be tolerated in our home and/or neighborhood. She also tends to be anxious and can become aggressive (shows her teeth, growls and lunges) when she is startled or feels threatened. She likes to run and be outdoors and gets along well with our other dog, but is definitely the boss of the two. We rescued her from the Humane Society almost one year ago and can't stand the idea of her being confined to a pen most of her time as she loves to run. We believe she may have been abused in her past which would explain the aggressive behavior if startled or if someone approaches her from behind or reprimands her. 90% of the time she is a sweetheart!
