Hello all you youngin's, my name is Tandy! I am a sweet senior ready to find my forever home! I am super sweet and can be a bit shy when I meet someone new for the first time, so please give me plenty of time to get use to you, a new environment, and any new friends I may have! I don't quite know how to play with toys, I would need your help in teaching me how fun they can be! I do not mind cats at all, though please do a proper introduction with the kitties and I to make sure that we will all get along! If you have any dogs as well I would love to meet them here at the shelter to make sure we click! Overall I am a sweet girl who wants a nice comfy couch where I can snuggle up to you and enjoy some nice time with you! If you are interested in meeting me, please come by the shelter and say hello!

My mom was recently killed and she had a heart for animals. She has fostered and adopted many dogs over the past 15 years. Her passion was caring for animals that were helpless to care for themselves and she felt all dogs deserved a loving home. Since her passing three weeks ago my brother and I have has to assume responsibility over her 19 animals. My mom rescued Duckie's mother from an abusive owner. At the time the mother was only one year old and on her second littler. My mom purchased the mother from the abusive owner and gave her the proper care she was in need of. Shortly after she gave birth to a litter. Three of these dogs are currently in need of homes. Duckie is a sweet gentle dog. She is friendly but timid at first. She does needs leash and obedience training depending on your personal expectations. In the time I have spent working with her she has already improved.
