Rhodesian ridgeback 11 years old, female, spayed. Gall bladder removed due to a tumor on 4/18. Was tested and ruled non cancerous. Fully healed now. Minor arthritis in rear hips. Still loves walks and chasing tennis balls. Is good off leash. Great in a small family setting, timid and shy around people she doesn’t know, but warms up quickly. Never shown aggression to people or bit anyone. No issues with other dogs. Does well in a crate and with a doggy door. Current on rabies and annual vaccines. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. My kids are 5 and 8 and never had any issues with the kids or their friends. A divorce and new living conditions forces the surrender of my pups.

Wild is anything but that! Hes a lover a cuddler and a friend! All he wants is to be around you. He needs to play and have a large space to do so. he fetches and sits, high five is his favorite trick. He is kennel trained but he would much rather be out with you. He loves kids and playing with them. He doesn't like bath time to much but with a little coaxing he is willing to sit through it. He never really liked toys but he loves his treats and bones. This good boy is about 4 years old but plays like a pup! I would really like to see him go to a home with a large back yard or to someone that would play and take him out on walks. He also does very well with bikes he will stay right beside you!

http://www.valleydogs.org/jerome.html -- Hi, I my name is Jerome. I am a 6 Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. My foster mom is not sure what else I am mixed with but I will probably grow up to be about 40-50 lbs. I was found in front of a PetSmart hiding under a bench. I don't know how long I wondered the streets but it seemed like forever. It was hot outside. I was very scared and hungry. These nice people found me and coaxed me out from my hiding place. They took me inside and gave me some food and water. I have been well cared for ever since. I currently live in a foster home with several dogs of all different sizes and get along well with them all. I am still a puppy so I am looking for a home that can handle typical puppy behavior and give me the training I need to become a well mannered adult dog. I am still a little shy meeting new people but if you give me a chance I know we can be friends forever.
