Gorgeous Brigid can't wait to meet you! Brigid is 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback (yup she's got that stripe down her back!)/Shepherd mix. She was found as a stray emaciated and very sick. Thus she was named Brigid after Irish Goddess of healing. After tests it was determined that Brigid needs a special pancreatic enzyme to help her digest food. Once on this enzyme Brigid quickly gained about 20 lbs! She still has more weight to gain but she is doing great with her medication, which is something she'd need to be on for life. A super sweet pooch she loves to meet new friends...both human and canine! She seems to know she has a second chance at life and is loving every moment of it! She will definitely keep you smiling! Our boy Solomon is looking for his most perfect forever home. He doesn't come without flaw, but he does come with a loyalty to his humans that doesn't waver. He is about 5 years old and probably 70 pounds. He is a Heinz 57 mix breed, the listed breeds are our best guess. He is Long, TALL, and lanky. Solomon LOVES to play fetch and brings the ball back every time for you to toss it again. He has plenty of energy to keep up with someone who likes to run and hike, but will also settle right down. His new home will need to have a fenced in yard for him to frolic and play in. Solomon is house and crate trained. He will need to be in an only dog adult home. Solomon listens well, but will need a stern handler not afraid to make him listen. He knows basic commands. And is very eager to please his humans. He is super smart and would excel with advanced training. He is currently being fostered in East Tennessee, but is available to be transported to the Northeast. Her pups have gone to their forever homes and Xena is more than ready for her happy ever after! She was such a good mom to her puppies and is truly a sweet and loving girl. She is very friendly and enjoys the company of people and other dogs. She doesn't care to share her toys and her bones, so we suggest a home with older children. Xena has a lot of energy, needs attention and exercise and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard with room to run. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
