I could write a novel here about all the great things about Scout but being limited to 1000 characters I'll leave most of it for a phone call or visit. We adopted Scout as a 6 month old puppy in 2014 in Seattle. She was a rescue from the state of Georgia. We put a lot of time and money into her training and it paid off. I can't tell you how many compliments she receives from friends and guests when they visit. For 5 and a half years Scout has been the perfect walking, hiking, swimming, and lounging partner. She's great on a leash, has great recall off leash, has never run off, was crate trained for two years, and can now stay at home for up to 10 hours alone with proper exercise morning and night. With all these positives there's no way getting around that she is a dominant female who after a whole year is still not tolerant of our infant child. It breaks my heart but I know it's the right choice. High standards for adopter, a near perfect dog deserves a near perfect home.

Story
This is Milo.... we witnessed how a yellow car stopped at an on-ramp on I85 South and let him out of the car and drove off... it was either chase them down or save this dog on a busy highway. Well it was easy... he was first a bit hesitant and clearly confused but once I sat down on the ground he came up and was a happy puppy. He rode shot gun for the rest of the work day and is now settling in at the paws and Stars house. MILO appears to be a 1 year old black mouth Cur dog. He does well with other dogs and people, clearly loves kids and is an amazing co-pilot. IMPORTANT: MIlo is located in GA!!! We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia. We do NOT have a shelter in MA but have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent once your application is submitted. If you would like to apply for Milo, please send us a message in order to receive an application. Only fro us can you receive the proper application to fill out. His adoption fee is $ 375 which includes transport cost, traveling certificate, all vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chio. OUR ADOPTION FEES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE!
