Meet Miss Sable (4 year female). Sable is a recent transfer from Tennessee. From the moment her four paws entered a shelter there to her transfer to Recycled Rotts, Sable has become a favorite. She is so sweet and wants nothing more than to just give hugs and kisses. Sable is good with kids and is getting along well with other dogs. If other dogs in her new family we would prefer them to me male and same size. No cats or small dogs for Miss Sable. She is a little underweight but nothing good, regular meals will not take care of. We knew she as HW+ when we accepted her, the ACLs were discovered after she was brought into our vet. This is not stopping Sable from wanting a better life and it won’t stop us either. The smile on her face in the first photo, tells us we made the right decision. Sable is happy to be part of Recycled Rotts and is looking forward to a new loving forever home. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Our online adoption application can be found on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Molly Lou is a 2 year old housebroken female Rottweiler.  She is sweet as can be!  Molly Lou did not pay any attention to the cats present when she first arrived to ARF and gets along with the resident Rottie at her foster home.  Molly Lou is a little timid at first, and then pure sweetness.  She has an appointment April 6th to be cleared by the vet and spayed. Prior to adoption, Molly Lou will by micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed.  Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Molly Lou's adoption fee is $400.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Molly Lou fill out an Online Application today! My name is Poppet. I am a 10 week old Rottweiler mix. Right now I about 10 lbs. I might be the smallest of my litter but I make up for it with spunk and attitude. My foster mom says I’m a good guard pup, barking at people walking by and those pesky leaves that try and land in the yard. While I would rather sleep on the couch, I go in my crate at night and sleep through the night. I’m working on potty training and have gotten the idea of the puppy pads. I will go when outside, but still working on it. I love to play, squeaky toys and things that make a crinkling sound are the best. I am good with cats. While I might run after them if they run by, I tend to just leave them alone. I would love a family with kids to play and snuggle with. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
