My foster mom says I am a diamond in the rough and worth the investment. I may look shy and fearful…looking as if my one wish in the world is to make you disappear if only it had the power to do so. SHY CATS LIKE ME ARE NOT FERAL. I am tame and genuinely enjoy the presence of my people in calm, familiar settings, but I tend to be skittish. I am an instant lap cat and time and effort invested by even one kind person can help “scaredy cats” like me blossom. Sounds hard to believe but it’s true. I love to sit in my foster mom’s lap while she works at the computer. I have learned to trust her and she never puts pressure on me. She has patiently picked me up and placed me in her lap day after day until I felt comfortable. I just want to feel close to my very own hooman. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.comMy name is Caruso, and I'm really trying to figure out why I have not found my forever home yet.  My foster mom says its okay because she loves me very much, but I would really like to have a home of my own.  I love to run around with my house mates and play, lay on the back of the couch and nap, and let the dogs know that I'm in charge around here.  My foster mom says I am the softest kitty ever and that I'm really goofy!  When I feel like it I let her scratch my head and sometimes I even let her rub my belly.  Otherwise, I just like to sit near her so she knows I'm there. My favorite game is to hide under the covers and wait for one of the other cats to jump on the bed, then I scare them!!   I have purrfect litter box skills and table manners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
