Story
Meet Domino Domino is a stunning black and white Scottish Fold kitten, 6 months old. He loves to play. He loves children. He can be a bit alpha with other cats, but he does need a young feline companion. Companion cat policy: young cats and kittens must go to a home with another young cat or kitten, under the age of 4, or be adopted with another young cat or kitten, under the age of 4. If you are interested in adopting him, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $350. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Story
Oh, my Tom. This stunning Black Smoke Mitted Scottish Fold boy is stunning. What is even better is his adorable personality. He is so cute and little and he just bee-bops around like he lives in the clouds. He is loving, affectionate, mellow, outgoing, cuddly, precious. Since he is a kitten, he must go to a home with another young cat (under the age of four) or kitten or be adopted with another young cat or kitten. This is for the purposes of socialization and is non-negotiable. Dogs/puppies or stay-at-home family members do not fulfill this need and will not be considered. If you are interested in adopting this special boy, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $325. Introducing Dobby: Dobby is a stunning one-year-old smoke Scottish fold. She is extremely sweet. She is a little on the shy side so we are looking for a home with no small children and probably no dogs. She is fine with other cats and would do well in a home with another cat, though we are not insisting that she go home under our companion cat policy. If you are interested in adopting Dobby, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.comShe is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Her adoption fee is $350. Story
Gorgeous Dahlia, part of the "Flower litter" of three beautiful girls, is a confident little kitty. She and her siblings were dropped off at a local shelter by someone who said she was coming back to adopt them formally but she never returned. After a couple of weeks, TMHPR was approached to see if they could be added to their program. There was no question that we would step in and help find their forever families. Dahlia is a short-haired tortoiseshell or tortie – tortoiseshell being a cat coat coloring named for its similarity to tortoiseshell material. She does not have any orange in her coloring so perhaps not technically a tortie but her coloring is quite unique.  Dahlia is a bit shy but comes around when she gets comfortable. She is independent and comfortable in her own skin! LOVES to play in the water flowing from the faucet and is a lively girl.  Her estimated birthday is January 1, 2019. Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please fill out the on-line adoption application on our website. Dogs Puppies (under 12 months): $300 Dogs (over 12 months) $250 Large-Breed Dogs (over 75 lbs) $275 Cats Kittens (under 12 months) $125 Cats (over 12 months) $100 Rescued Declawed Cats* $145 * TMHPR does not endorse the declawing of cats Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. For more information about our rescue organization and our available pets, please visit tmhpr.com.

Sweet Camellia, part of the "Flower litter" of three beautiful girls, is just a love bug.  She and her siblings were dropped off at a local shelter by someone who said she was coming back to adopt them formally but she never returned.  After a couple of weeks, TMHPR was approached to see if they could be added to their program. There was no question that we would step in and help find their forever families. Camellia is a short-haired tortoiseshell or tortie– tortoiseshell being a cat coat coloring named for its similarity to tortoiseshell material. She is almost all black and gray with a bit of orange in her coat. She is very playful, loves wand toys and is super-fast when she plays. Camellia is also quite the huntress.  She purrs the minute she is picked up.  She totally enjoys playing in the water flowing from a running faucet and is a lively girl.  Her estimated birthday is January 1, 2019. Story
Meet gorgeous Alina! This girl was rescued from a local animal shelter where she ended up as a stray living on the streets just trying to survive. Currently, Alina is living in a loving foster home where she can lounge on a couch or bed and just enjoy the happy stuff, like good food and fun toys and cozy blankets. She is a very sweet and loving cat and is her foster mom's little shadow. This girl is almost always cuddling next to or on top of her human caregivers and Alina loves cuddles almost as much as she loves getting head scratches. She has one beautiful fluffy tail, too. She does really well with other cats and is truly the whole package....loving, gorgeous and calm. Alina is the perfect cat for anyone who is looking for a sweet little love bug! Alina's estimated birth date is January 29, 2017.       Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please fill out the on-line adoption application on our website.
