Story
We aquired Bo as a favor to a friend going through a divorce. We were to watch him until everything was settled. Now they cant take him back due to living arrangements. He was very obese and couldn't even hardly sit to scratch himself and his skin was horrible. He is at least 3-5 yrs old.I've got him slim and trim and active and also his coat is nice.He loves my dog and plays well but can be a little bossy. All he wants is love, all day everyday! He's quiet except for your normal barking at the door and when he's playing with other dogs..(then he sounds like a monster LOL) He is almost all the way house trained...needs to be taken out at regular intervals for his bowel habits..he will "poop walk" when he has to go. This is where he will need time and patience! I think he would do well in a doggie brother/sister home but even better in a one- dog family so he can have all the attention! Please contact me for more info or questions.Help find his forever home!!!!

Story
Meet Romi!Romi is a 3 year old Shar Pei mix with quite possibly the cutest set of ears you'll ever see! This social butterfly loves to meet new people. Romi is crate trained, house trained, and travels well in the car. She lived with children in her last home and loved all of them!"Romi has been a great dog to foster through Animal Friends Humane Society. She loves everyone and wants to meet everybody. She loves a short easy game of tug rope and watching the neighborhood from the back rear sliding window in the sun. We call her Tender-Romi, since she has such a tender and sweet personality. She is very photogenic and is easy to give a bath too. Romi enjoys giving affection and cuddling, while also having time to herself. Your heart will melt by her welcoming you home with a leaning paw lift. She will make a great addition to any family who would adopt her."Romi does like being the queen of her castle and must be the only pet in the home, but don't let that stop you! She will bring a smile to your face and she will melt your heart when you first meet her.

Story
Meet Aquarius AC Trick or Treat. How about both? And I am not talking ‘bout Howloweenie. Me and my Mommy and all my siblings were living at a gas station. I didn’t know it at the time, but ‘upposedly, living at a gas station is very sad. Some sneaky, but well meaning, ladies set up a cage and put treats in there. My Mommy was trapped first, then they had to collect all of us babies. My Mommy is a fluffy red dog with super puffy cheeks named Nutmeg, she weighs 35 pounds a Sharpei/Chow mix. My Father might have been a yellow Labrador because that is what I most favor. I am shaping up to likely be bigger than my Mommy, maybe 40 pounds. I am a boy doggie and a strawberry muffin with my berry pretty strawberry blonde coat. The volunteer says I am a real hunk muffin. I don’t know about all that *blushes a little*. At my Foster House I hang out with 3 older big dogs, a 30 pound dog and my sister Libra. I am submissive and playful with them. Sometimes I bark at other dogs, it just depends on how they look at me and the vibe I feel, but most of the time, I like them. I like to be one of the dogs and do activities with dogs. I always follow the lead of my pack mates. I like pack walks and runs on a leash, a tight leash! Due to my scared feelings, I would do best with older kids, not small kids that might scare me back into my shell. I love being in my crate, I feel safe in there. I am pretty much potty trained. I might do a scared tinkle on occasion, but not too often. I am making HUGE strides with my scared feelings and learning to be more outgoing and comfortable every day. You can’t really be scared of humans because they know where the food is. And I like food. I even hang out by my Foster Mom’s feets sometimes and get excited when she has a toy. I like toys. I like my Foster Mom better than my Foster Dad. I am making faster progress coming out of my shell because I am food muttivated. I am not afraid to beg! I will even take food from complete strangers. When Foster Mom is cooking, I will stand up on my hind legs and do a really cute face. Heck, I might be shy, but I am not stupid, I know this cute face will get me a yummy nibble. I love human food sooooo much, sometimes I try to steal it right off Foster Mom’s fork. Ha ha, she says that isn’t nice, but lets me get away with it, for progress sake. All in the name of progress. Food isn’t the only thing I chew on. I love to chew on toys or other items. If anything is near my crate, I will chew it. Sometimes my Foster Mom catches my sister red handed or red pawed as she grabs an item for us to nibble on. I do join in on nibbling stuff with my sister, cuz I am a team player and a good brother, not a bad boy. If Foster Mom says “stop chewing” I usually stop. Usually. I like outdoor time. I run the fence to chase and bork at squirrellssssss. Sometimes I run the fence to bork at the neighbor’s dog, it is a no no no. But it feels fun fun fun. I am looking for a home with lots of patience, pepperonis and perhaps another dog that can help me continue my work on my confidence level. Do you want to be that person with the pepperonis? GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our puppies are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested if not started on heartworm preventatives already, and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $500 for puppies under a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website. God's Dogs will remain as a permanent back up registration for safety sake. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Story
Hello this is Hank he is a previous adoption but do to relocating I can no longer provide care for him. Loves to sleep under the covers. He is a lap dog even for his size he just loves to be with his person as much as possible. He can play fetch. He loves tuna, I say he’s part cat for his love of seafood. He’s a great dog with a lot of puppy left in him. I feel he needs a yard and room to run “something he is lacking” he’s crate trained but sometimes rather than him going to “kennel up” the term I use. He’d rather go into another room. He’s a great guy. Thanks.

Story
He is the most sweetest calm Pitbull ever! We got him from a couple at 4 months and now we have to give him up due to landlords. Loves to play with toys, cuddle, take long walks and to sleep on his bed. We have a big cage provided along with the rest of the food and toys. We would love to see him go to a loving home with a family or just someone who will give plenty of attention and love!
