We aquired Bo as a favor to a friend going through a divorce.We were to watch him until everything was settled.Now they cant take him back due to living arrangements.He was very obese and couldn't even hardly sit to scratch himself and his skin was horrible.He is at least 3-5 yrs old.I've got him slim and trim and active and also his coat is nice.He loves my dog and plays well but can be a little bossy. All he wants is love,all day everyday! He's quiet except for your normal barking at the door and when he's playing with other dogs..(then he sounds like a monster LOL) He is almost all the way house trained...needs to be taken out at regular intervals for his bowel habits..he will "poop walk" when he has to go. This is where he will need time and patience! I think he would do well in a doggie brother/sister home but even better in a one- dog family so he can have all the attention! Hi I’m Kahn! I am a 3-year old 80lb bulldog/boxer/staffordshire terrier (per my DNA results). I came from a local county where I lived for 8 months in a barren kennel. I came to Halo to work on my manners and my foster mom fell in love with me and I fell in love with her. I have lived at Halo for over a year now and I have learned amazing things. I know all of my basic commands; I know how to walk very nicely on a leash; I socialize at all of the pet friendly stores, and I am a great travel companion to my foster mom. I am also a GREAT snuggle buddy and I NEED to sleep with you as close as I can. My foster mom feels that I would make an excellent companion for someone with PTSD or someone who needs an emotional support dog because I cannot get close enough to my person and I am the most loyal and loving dog! I currently live in a home with other dogs and cats. To be honest I don’t like it. I am not dog aggressive by no means but I wasn’t socialized as a pup and I’m not the best at reading dog body language so I take everything the wrong way. Because my foster mom saves so many dogs and we always have a new dog guest I get really agitated and cranky and try to start fights. I really need a quiet home with someone who stays home a lot and just wants a big boy who is a lover!! It will break my foster mom’s heart when I go, but she knows that I am not happy with all of the dogs and cats around. I will require someone who knows about my breed’s behavior (stubbornness). I will require a fenced in yard and older kids. No cats or other dogs please! ##224325##
