Houston, TX area: “Abigail” is an incredibly sweet girl that was rescued running through traffic near Hermann Park. A Good Samaritan picked her up, but had nowhere for her to go, she didn’t want to turn her into Animal Control, knowing what the outcome could be. Abigail is currently in board and stay training with The Texas Dogfather. This is a valuable tool for her and her foster / adopter. The trainer will help her transition into her new environment. She graduates soon and we need a place for this sweetie to go. Her foster / adopter will work with The Texas Dogfather and Abigail one on one. She loves playing with a ball when she is not cuddling. She is mellow and is happiest being around people. She would do best in a household with no other dogs or with a strong human pack leader, she would do fine with others dogs, in a very structured environment. Abigail has been spayed and micro-chipped, and she has had all her vaccines. The vet believes she was born around 7-2017. She is a petite girl at only 47 pounds. In addition to having a great personality, Abigail is also crate-trained, house-trained, and great on leash. She is a beautiful color and has adorable wrinkles. Abigail is a will make someone a awesome companion. I live in an apartment complex, very close to other people. Because Frankie is leash reactive- he sometimes pulls or rarely lunges at passers by. He never shows his teeth or growls, he sometimes will bark or let out a grunt. I keep him close to me while walking and doing that does help him not acknowledge others. If he sees you have a dog he wants to sniff on the dog and he will like the person- but they have to have a dog. Its strange. Hes very loyal and protective. He does not like strangers in our apartment. Very seldom does he, but normally he does not. Please, if you have a yard or land, have a dog but need another loyal companion that you will keep close to you- Frankie is your guy. I cannot keep him in this complex anymore and I cannot move. I do not want to take this beau soul to a shelter. He needs love, a yard and patien/training when it comes to strangers. Thank you.

We don’t have the time she needs since we both work.she is kennel trained and potty trained. She has all shots and is Neutered. I also have all the papers that were given to us from Barc animal shelter.
