You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Name: DELTA DOB: 03/07/2017 Weight: 46 Adoption Fee: $125 "Delta is my name and cuddling is my game.  I give the best snuggles in the world.  I have no sense of personal space, and I love to hug and give kisses.  I only want to make my person(s) happy and shadow them everywhere they go.    Don't let my cuddles fool you... I'm also a little bundle of energy.  I love bike rides, long walks exploring, Dairy Queen drive-thrus, de-stuffing my dog toys, chomping on dog bones, and plenty of tug-of-war games.  After a day of fun, my favorite place in the world is right beside my person(s). I'm a people pleaser, very smart, and I make the best 40lb  lap dog. I have so much love to give.     On  the flip side, I have a bit of separation anxiety and would do best if not left without my person(s) for very long.  I had a rough start at life and being left alone makes me anxious.  I've eaten my share of shoes, and I feel super bad about it - but it's the only way I have to tell my person(s) that I'm anxious when they leave.  I've also been known to jump a short fence to try to be with my person in the front yard.  I need a home in a safe environment, and lots of attention so that I don't escape and accidentally get lost.    I'm pretty timid around lots of animals, so thank-you-but no dog parks for me... and definitely no walking into PetSmart (yicks, that's the worst).  Maybe it's because I spent many months in shelters and warehouse-sized building reminds me of that.  Cats  are okay as long as they don't want to interact with me.  If they don't mind me, then I don't mind them.   Kids really terrify me... so no young ones. I tremble, cower, and try to escape.  I'm ok with some older teenagers that are calm and dog-savvy.  (Especially if they have treats!)    I'm not a barker unless someone comes to the door or I hear a doorbell. I'm sensitive to sounds and my alertness is probably how I survived when I was a young pup in Oklahoma. So a quiet house would be best. Actually, my  ideal home is someone that works from home or is retired and has one awesome doggie playmate for me . I like dogs if they are calm and my size, but I'm not great with small dogs. I'm not sure why I don't like them, but when they approach me my hackles go up and I turn my head to tell them I'm not interested in meeting.  I'm not dog-aggressive, I'm just particular about who i want to be friends with and I'll turn away if I'm not interested.  My person(s) are the center of my world and I just want to focus on them.   If you're interested in meeting me and you're ready to cuddle, let's meet!"     (P.S. My foster mom is going to ugly cry on the day I leave, so be prepared for that!  No seriously... like really, please bring the Kleenex! No joke.) Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Name: Dritzz DOB: 11/16/2015 Weight: 65 Adoption Fee: $375 Hi my name is Dritzz! I am a four year old pup that would love a family that can give me some space to stretch out in and be home with me more often! In my old house I had a fenced in yard and I loved that soooo much! I just rejoined the rescue after my previous family had some lifestyle changes. They loved me a lot but knew they weren't giving me the right home. I'm just getting settled in my foster home and she will update with more info. I like going for walks but do get some leash aggression that I'm working on. I don't show these behaviors when I'm not on the leash and I do like playing with dogs. Right now my foster thinks I would do best in a home with a submissive dog as I like being by my people a lot and this is making my current foster dog pretty jealous. I would like some time to adjust to my new home so taking it slow with new friends would be best! I know some basic commands but on a leash I am a puller if I'm not on a harness so someone able to handle my strength would be best. I am not crate trained but I don't need to be as I am not destructive when left to my own devices. I am fully potty trained so there is nothing to worry about there either! I love people so much but can tend to jump up to give them hugs and kisses. Therefore a home without or kids or with kids that understand dog might be best as I don't know my own strength and don't understand when to stop giving kisses. I'm not overly energetic and hyper, but do love giving kisses! I REALLY love my people and love to sit near you on the couch or in bed and put my head on your lap. I just like being near my people and showing them love with snuggles and kisses. I have a pretty good prey drive and have been known to take off after a rabbit or bird. So if I'm outside I need to be in a fence or on a leash so I don't go on adventures. I lived with a cat and don't have any issues with her other than she isn't very nice to me. I am scared of fireworks, but gun shots (trap shooting) doesn't bother me. I sure am a funny pup! I don't love car rides but if there is a canopy back there or if we just got done doing something interesting like a dog park I am better. I am allergic to chicken and turkey so would need other kinds of food. Sponsor This Pet An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal.
