Story
Hillary and her buddy, Tom were found in a Tomball church parking lot.  She wasn't wearing a collar or ID tags and she had no microchip.  Sadly, no "LOST DOG" signs were posted in the nearby neighborhoods. Hillary had scars on her face, indicating that her former life might not have been an easy one. But now she is learning to accept and enjoy affection from her caregivers at Emmy's Hope Rescue. Hillary is somewhat timid and cautious when she meets someone new but when she becomes comfortable and trusts you, she happily wags her tail and runs in circles. :)) Hillary is a sweet girl and deserves the second chapter of her life to be as special as she is. She deserves  a loving, secure and peaceful place to call home. Estimated Birthdate: September, 2010   Approximate weight: 48 lbs. If you would like to meet Hillary please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549 CRITERIA for adopting from EHR*** YOU MUST: 1. Be 21 years or older. 2. Have a fenced yard. 3. Have at least 2 years of  good vet history with current and / or past pets - annual vaccinations, heart worm testing and using a monthly HW preventative.

Story
Cody is a purebred Heidelberg German Shepherd. He is about 9 years old. He is a sweet and loving dog, but very territorial with other dogs. He is great with kids! He has severe anxiety with fireworks and thunderstorms. Lately, we’ve seen more behavioral issues with him. Going from being totally potty trained to peeing in the house near where the cats’ litter box and food are. He also as an undescended testicle I wasn’t aware of until the last year. This requires surgery, which I can’t afford. It breaks my heart to have to rehire him, but he deserves a home where he is the only dog and can get the attention he deserves. Our busy work schedules and busy kids’ schedules leave him alone too much.

Story
Nyx is 1 1/2 years old, she is very playful getting along with other animals. I got her from an abussive owner but have socialized her well after so she is a little nervous around new people, usualy barks and runs away a few feet however she is not aggressive in any way. She is decently trained, all the basics, knows to walk next to you off leash though she still gets distracted every once in a while. She needs a new home because i have a new baby and can not exercise her and give her the attention she needs and apartment that does not allow her size or breed.
