**Important Note** You won't find this kitty at the shelter. This kitty is waiting patiently in foster care for your call. Please contact the Foster Care Hotline at 206-684-0685 to arrange a meeting. Thank you! It's really easy to love Marjo, who is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever hope to meet. She adapted very quickly to her foster home and made it clear that she prefers to have someone around most of the time. She likes to be by her person as much as possible, but not in a pushy way! This is true at night, too, and you would hardly know she's on the bed because she's so content to just be there. She also loves to play with her toys and enjoys scratching on a cardboard scratcher with catnip (and only on that). And of course, being a Siamese, she is quite the conversationalist! Please read the medical information below about Marjo's kidney disease. Marjo eats her wet renal food well, but like many cats, she is a "social eater" and enjoys company while she eats - and it's really important that she keep eating. She drinks a lot of water and puts out a lot water, which means that her littler box will need to be sifted more often than normal. She is fastidious about using her box, so she will appreciate one that is regularly attended to. Marjo's estimated age is around 9 yrs or so. She may be a little more high maintenance than a non kidney disease cat, but she is well worth the effort, and she will repay your attention with unconditional love and snuggles. Marjo has stage III chronic kidney disease. This means her kidneys are not functioning at 100%. This a progressive disease that we see in many older cats. How quickly it will progress is different in every animal. The most important factors are keeping cats eating and well hydrated. They should be encouraged to eat a kidney friendly diet, but what's more important is just that they keep eating (even if that means eating a regular over-the-counter diet). Always provide fresh water, and even add a little water to their canned food to encourage more hydration. Over time she may require additional medication or treatment and followups with your regular veterinarian. Please see handouts for more information.

I was given too my owner through a mutual friend. I am looking for a household with no kids or other pets except my sister. I am an attention seeker. Will look on when; my owner is getting ready with her day. I am use too having one owner. I like too cuddly not very often though, sometimes temperamental at times. Love my sister, however we do have our quarrels. We do like too eat together please; don't separate us when it comes too our feeding time. Well what else can I say about myself. Oh that I am spoiled.

Story
Meet Puss Puss ❤️ Her new family must meet the criteria to be considered: 1. Must be the only pet 2. New family must consist of only 1-2 adults. No kids. About her: 1. She is declawed (all 4 paws), done before her current home. 2. She will hiss & have her guard up for a few days, maybe even weeks - until she is comfy in her new home. 3. Do not pet her back or tummy, she hates being touched there. Feel free to give all the chin, neck, head & ear scratches you can give! Please keep this in mind, it’s important! 4. She loves windows, cat trees & the sun. She will come with everything you need - cat tree, bed, carrier, toys, food, bowls. Are you her person?
