I’m Boy Bear…if you say it fast, it sounds like Boyds Bear!  I’m a kidder.  I’m a male, black Miniature Schnauzer mix with natural ears and a docked tail.  I’m about six years old and I weigh about fourteen pounds.  I had to be  completely shaved.  My previous owner died and, well, keeping up with a dog and his needs wasn’t easy in the end. I had to be completely shaved.  I might be a chocolate color.  Black, brown.  I don’t know.  It’s still rock and roll to me!  I like the human friends I’ve met and I’ve done well with older children.  I’m in a much better mood now that I’ve got the mats removed from my coat!  It feels good to be petted now! I’m good with other dogs but I do get a little food aggressive.  I’ve got cataracts in both eyes so my eyesight is a little diminished.  That’s part of the problem I’m sure.  I am crate trained and I’m house trained too.  I’d probably be best as an only four-legged friend. Story
Yogi was purchased by me at three months old, and is now a nine year old Adult. He loves his naps during the day, walks well on a leash, loves to chase squirrels, toads, or lizards, and has a very loving and gentle personality. He is fully vetted, microchipped, has no health issues, and is full of energy and life! He tends to want to be the boss and gets along much better with dogs who are easy going. I will say if there is one vice, Yogi is a toy hoarder! He is kept inside as part of the family with his humans and fur family, and loves to snuggle, give kisses, talk and greet you with a serenade after being away at work all day. I am looking to rehome him only because I'm moving across the US several states away and have his best interest at heart. If you don't mind spoiling him and are a top-notch owner, contact me. Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method.
