Story
Fabulous Fabio! Fabulous Fabio is a 3 to 5 year old red and domestic short-haired boy. Don't let his good looks fool you! He is just as sweet as he looks??. He may be mildly CH, cerebellar hypoplasia, which just means that occasionally he has a little bit of trouble with his balance. He does need to go to a home with no small children under the age of 10. Fabio is really fabulous as he is sweet, affectionate, even a little needy with his human. He would probably do well in any home. He gets along extremely well with other cats and makes a good cat friend, so if you were looking for a companion for your existing cat he would be a good choice. However, he would also be fine alone as long as he had your attention. If you are interested in adopting this stunningly marked boy, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $150. We might be willing to waive his adoption fee to the right home, and we are the ones to determine which is the right home. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Story
Meet Sharmendar Sharmendar is a wonderful 2 year old, red and white Main Coon mix boy. He is incredibly sweet and delightfully playful with an incredible motor boat purr that makes you smile. This cutie pie is FIV positive but he is wonderful with other cats and his playful nature doesn’t interfere with that. If his future adopter had similar easy going cats, he would probably be fine with them. That would, however, be at the adopter’s discretion. It is possible to transfer FIV between kitties but only through deep wounds. He would certainly be an amazing candidate for a family looking for kitty siblings for an existing FIV positive kitty. If you are interested in adopting him, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas.
