Story
Sasha is a beautiful DSH black female born approximately 9/15/2016. Sasha was rescued with her mother and three sisters from a shopping center when she was just 7 weeks old. She is shy, but loves to be petted. She is playful and gets along well with her sister.  She is not afraid of other cats who come into her room, but they always just hiss at her!  Her foster is sure she would do fine with another cat in her forever home--probably another young one who would play with her!  She has not been around young children nor dogs.  She will crawl into her foster's lap, but does not like to be picked up.  She loves treats. Sasha is currently in a foster home and her adoption fee is $105. Due to COVID-19, NBCR isn't currently holding weekend adoption events. However, if you are interested in meeting Sasha, please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Story
Simon Marmalade is a charming DSH orange tabby male born approximately 7/23/2019. Simon, aka Marmalade or Cheeto, appeared late one night on the doorstep of one of NBCR's volunteers, crying out for attention and rubbing against her legs. Knowing he was a lost, but friendly cat, the volunteer took in the sweet ginger boy.  He was a bit shy at first, but has come out of his shell and seems to enjoy the attention of her other senior house cat.  Simon has adjusted to being an inside kitty full time - using his scratcher and playing with his kitty toys. Simon is a sweet-tempered, "Morris-the-Cat" wannabe.  He likes t o cuddle in bed at night and make lots of biscuits. He loves to have his head, ears, and chin scratched.  He will provide you with a great deal of attention, loving kitty chirps, and be your dog-like companion.  His favorite activity is sitting on the stairs peering down at the world below.     Simon is currently in a foster home and his adoption fee is $105. Due to COVID-19, Petsmart isn't currently holding weekend adoption events. However, if you are interested in meeting Simon, please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Story
Baxter is a handsome DSH black male born approximately 7/5/2019. Baxter and his sister, Amber, were trapped by a good Samaritan in a Dallas neighborhood where bobcats and hawks were seen. Their foster contacted NBCR for help finding them a loving home. It didn't take long for these 2 cuties to turn the corner and get sweet, although they are still very shy around strangers. Baxter loves to purr when you hold him. He also loves toys that make noise. Baxter is currently in a foster home and his adoption fee is $105. Due to COVID-19, Petsmart isn't currently holding weekend adoption events. However, if you are interested in meeting Baxter, please contact us to arrange an appointment.
