You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This gorgeous hound is Miss Layla.  Middle aged, so well past the puppy crazys but young enough to remember how to have a good time.  Layla tends to be on the low-key side (until meal time when she becomes decidedly off-key!- she sings for her supper!).  She would be perfectly content to veg out on the sofa watching reruns with you. Layla is up to date on her vaccinations and deworming, microchipped and spayed and ready to meet you!  To set up a meet and sniff, just email us.   Layla is fostered in Baker County; her adoption fee- which includes the above-mentioned vetting- is only $250. Treeing Walker CoonhoundMeet Fred! He is a stunning treeing walker coonhound boy about 8 years old and 50 lbs. He was left suffering in a FL rural kill shelter with massive wounds from multiple dogs attacking him while he was a stray and they ripped off part of one ear and part of the other ear was left dangling. He is all healed up and wants to be your forever best friend! Fred is a tiny bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He is good with other dogs but fine being your only love. He is good with kids too and gentle enough walking on a leash for a 7 year old to safely walk him at events. He loves playing outside and enjoying the sunshine so a fenced in yard is a must. We think he would be fine with cats, is crate trained but doesn't require to be when left alone because he's such a good boy, potty trained, and just an absolute GEM!!! He is a calm and chill boy and just wants a cozy cough and best friend to hang with! Who will open up their heart and home to this angel?!  Fred's adoption donation is only $200 which includes neuter, up to date on shots, microchipped. Meet Romeo! This boy is so handsome!! Romeo is a young hound mix (1-2 years old) who is medium-large in size (about 50 pounds). He is super sweet and longs to be loved...He'll steal your heart in a moment! If you would like to meet Romeo or any of our dogs please fill out an adoption application on www.maxxandme.org.  Romeo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is only $250.   We are an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed. Meet Lady! This sweet angel is a 3-5 year old, 48 pound Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. She is very shy and a total love.  She looks like she has had a rough life but that is all changing due to her foster mom. She is in Tallahassee so we would like to get her in a foster closer to us in Tampa.  Lady needs a home with another dog to learn from and hang out with (hounds are very social!). She walks nicely on a leash but is still nervous a little so we want her to have a fenced in yard. She is crate trained and behaves beautifully in the house.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  Her adoption donation is only $250.
