Please put "Sponsoring" & the animal's name on the memo line of the check. We pulled Belle from the local shelter. The ACO contacted us about her since she was a senior and a coonhound. They know we love the old houndies :)  Belle was a mess. Seriously arthritic, multiple mammary tumors and a very odd tumor on her side. Her teeth are a mess also. And she is sadly heartworm positive.  Belle has had her surgery to spay her and remove the tumors. The histology report came back good and the removal should be curative. She will have her dental work at the end of the month and then we will address her heartworm. She is doing quite well and says she was born to live inside :) She is great with other dogs, cats and people. She is housebroken. Her one bad habit is counter surfing but she is learning. And she is gorgeous. Really gorgeous.  We do need donations for her medical care.
