'Hello. I'm Tilly and I was picked up a few weeks ago down on Caldwell Road. I waited here for my owner to come get me, but they never showed up, so now I'm going up for adoption and can't wait to meet my new family.' The adoption fee for dogs is $95. This includes spaying/neutering, fecal test and worming, rabies, and parvo/distemper vaccinations. You can find the link to our adoption application at the bottom of this page. Lucky here! I was hit by a car and left for dead on the side of the road. A nice lady found and took me to the closest vet where they contemplated euthanasia. You see, my spine was fractured leaving me paralyzed from the waist down. Thankfully, this rescue gave me a second chance. I am happy to be alive and am perfectly capable of living a good quality life. I just need to find a family who is perfectly cable of caring for my special needs :) I am guessed to be a 4-5-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound. I love the company of other dogs and can’t wait until I get my cart so I can run and play! I also enjoy getting pet by everyone I meet. If you don’t come to me, I’m scootin’ my way to you. My bladder needs expressed every 6 hours, and I cannot control my bowels.

They know we love the old houndies :) Belle was a mess. Seriously arthritic, multiple mammary tumors and a very odd tumor on her side. Her teeth are a mess also. And she is sadly heartworm positive. Belle has had her surgery to spay her and remove the tumors. The histology report came back good and the removal should be curative. She will have her dental work at the end of the month and then we will address her heartworm. She is doing quite well and says she was born to live inside :) She is great with other dogs, cats and people. She is housebroken. Her one bad habit is counter surfing but she is learning. And she is gorgeous. Really gorgeous. We do need donations for her medical care.
