Story
A sad story, but we're hoping for a happy ending. Sweet Hank, a Walker Coonhound, stayed with us for awhile before finding the perfect home with Sam, his wonderful adopter. They went everywhere together and were constant companions. Sam's relatives hadn't heard from him in awhile and went to his home. They found that Sam had passed away and Hank was lying by his side...we don't know for how long. The relatives were determined to care for Hank because they knew how much Sam loved him. However, the relatives are now unable to care for this sweet dog, who has been through so much. Hank has been returned to SAFE, and we want to find him a home where he feels safe and secure. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and easy going. Please call us at 270-963-2014 or email us at safehavenky@gmail.com for an application if your home and heart could accommodate this precious boy. Potential adopters should live within 50 miles of Princeton, KY.
