Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Like a lot of our rescue pups, we’re not exactly sure what breed Harry is, but we do know this goofy playful boy is a ton of fun! He’s quickly become a staff favorite with his happy personality. Harry loves all the people and has done great in all his doggie playgroups. Harry requires a strict vegetarian diet and allergy shots. He struggled with allergies for a long time, but he's finally found something that works, and it shows! Harry is a happy guy and his coat is all grown in; which was something that was lagging behind in his recovery due to the allergies. If you’re looking for a happy, medium energy dog, Harry just might be the one for you. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org. The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
(This is a courtesy posting.) Hi, my name is GIBBY. Don't ask me why! I have no idea. What's your name? Nice to meet ya! Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I definitely want a home with a fenced-in yard so I can run and play and be safe. (You may see me posted in other cities looking for my new home.) Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Pointer/Retriever mix. I am 2 years old! I weigh 50 pounds. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered and I have a microchip, whatever THAT is. I am house-trained. YAY me!!! Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? Everyone who knows me says I am a super sweet guy. I'm an active and fun boy. I like to run, play ball and I bet I'd do well in Agility. I could hike and bike, too! I'm your friend and buddy for life! I am a sweet, loving guy that just wants to be with my peeps. OK? I'm happy and smiling all the time! I'm happy cuddling with you and I'm one of the nicest pups you will ever meet. I am sure of that! I'm just an all-round happy boy! Good, huh? Maybe you need me as much as I need you??? If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email doggydarlings12@gmail.com and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $450 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND air transportation from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S. and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)

Story
Animal Profile:   Wedgewood is a silly Catahoula mix who loves being around people. He walks well on the leash and quickly became popular for the field trip program at Kauai Humane Society, but is coming to Seattle to find his forever home! He does well with other dogs, greeting politely and willingly sharing his space (though he does seem prefer the ladies).  Wedgewood arrived from Kauai Humane Society on 3/26, and we have received the following update from his foster:  " He’s a very sweet dog who’s never met a stranger.  He was friendly when we got him, but now he seems to “smile” much more.  He loves to get belly rubs and spends work days sleeping near one of our desks.  He also crates really well and is just as happy to sleep in there.  He does seem to have some arthritis and is fairly stiff when he wakes up, but he still has good energy when he’s moving around or going for a walk and has even gone for a short run with me.  " Wedgewood is working on his leash skills and will need a strong leader that is comfortable correcting him when he sees other dogs and gets over excited. Adoption Info:  Adoption fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test, and flight from Hawaii. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Animal History:  This dog was transferred from our Kauai Humane Society rescue partner (Arrival Date Thursday 3/26). This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org
