Bogart - aka Bogey - is the sweetest pea. He is a Mini Aussie/JRT mix. He is crazy about dog friends and has cat friends too in his foster home. Bogey was born in November 2023 and was the shy guy of his family, but he has come a long way. Bogey is currently learning a lot in his puppy kindergarten classes, is potty trained and is the light of his foster mom's eyes. Bogey is normally very calm, but occasionally he gets the zoomies and just HAS to run. He goes on several walks everyday with his foster mom and always stays nearby. Does Bogey sound like the perfect dog for your family? Come and meet him and fall in love! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
