Story
I had Meo when he was abandoned by the previous owner. I know nothing about Meo, but he is very sweet. His urination has a problem, that is why he can not eat normal food. Even though I really want to keep him with me, I have to come back my country, and I am not sure that I can come back the United State or not. I do not want to abandon him like what the previous owner did to him before. It breaks my heart too much. Please adopt him. God bless you.

Story
This is sweet OLIVIA. She was found as a kitten in a feral colony. The bigger cats were picking on her and didn’t allow her to eat. When she was rescued, her stomach was full of rocks, sticks and anything else she could find to stop her hunger. She’s about 6 months old and is all healthy now and fully vetted. Olivia’s a shy girl who warms up slowly and would love a calm household where she can hang out in your lap and be petted. She gets along with all adults and would do great with kids past the “teacup” size. You won’t find a more affectionate little girl. Contact us today to meet Olivia and fall in love! (Terrell Animal Alliance only adopts out in the Dallas, Ft. Worth and East TX areas.)

Story
Rio is a cute Seal Bi-color Ragdoll Manx, 10 years old. She is a bit of a grumpy cat 😁, but without other cats around, she is much better. I love her snarkiness. She deserves to be allowed her snarkiness. She has had a rough time. She was dumped by her owners. She came in with a severe fungal infection and a massive hernia. Those have been taken care and she now deserves her own special home. No dogs, cats, or young children (under the age of 10) in the home. She's not a lap cat, but she really does love people. She does have a nice easy to maintain coat. If you are interested in adopting this pretty girl, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. She is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Her adoption fee is $75. Rio is part of our Senior Special which means an adopter 60 years old or over can adopt Rio for $50. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
