I am almost 2 years old and weigh about 77 lbs. and am a studly boy! I would love a home where I can hang out with my people, go for walks or hikes, or take naps together. I would probably do best in an adult-only home or one with older kids given my size. I am currently in boarding in a cold kennel and would love a home soon. My adoption fee of $400 covers spay, DA2PP shots, rabies, bordetella, heartworm test, microchip, health certificate, and other costs. The adoption fee helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals and more. Astor was found dodging traffic in a busy street when a good Samaritan decided to intervene. He is approx. 2 yrs old and weighs around 60lbs. He is super sweet with people and likes to hang out with you all the time. He likes to go for walks but still need some work on the leash because pulls when is excited. He does fine with elder dogs but may bark and launch to other dogs when he is being walked. He is healthy, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. He is house and crate trained. Hi, my name is Vinny! I really am as sweet, happy, and goofy as I look in my photos! I am house trained, crate trained, well behaved indoors, not afraid of storms, good during car rides, and very loving. I have lived in foster homes with other dogs in the past and done well but currently I am a single dog and do great as an only pet also- no separation anxiety here. Since I haven’t been living with another dog for the past few months, only applications where I will be an only pet are being considered for out-of-state adoptions (but if you are looking for a dog that you can eventually integrate with friends’ dogs for playtime etc I would enjoy that too- just give me slow intros to meet new friends- in the past I have enjoyed play time with other large dogs!) **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hey, all! I'm Knight! So here's the thing. I was living at the Buddhist Temple and it wasn't bad. HOWEVER, it was not as good as this! I now have food every day that I don't even have to scrounge for, water that's readily available, shelter that doesn't leak and even people to love on me! All in all, not a bad deal. I'm an energetic guy who likes to run around the play yard and do my own thing. I do get up to some puppy-ish shenanigans, so I'll need some guidance to become the dog I want to be. But, the important thing is that I do want to please. I do like to play with my empty food bowl and I lost my bedding privileges, but who can blame a guy? It was just so fun to tear up! Other than that though, I'm try to be on my best behavior. I'm just 80 pounds of love! Chowder is looking for a foster home. He’s currently living in an overflow kennel used for dogs needing a foster or forever home. Someone said he has a face that only a mother could love but we don’t think that’s true at all! From Chowder’s darling little ears and expressive face down to his always wagging tail, we can only see his total cuteness! As you can see in his photos, he’s living in a kennel run in E. WA. Chowder’s first wish is to get out of the kennel and find a place in the Seattle area, whether foster or forever. He will be transported to this area if there is an adoptive family, or foster family willing to give him shelter until he gets adopted. Although Chowder looks like an adult dog, he’s a puppy at heart. He’s bouncy and loves to play, run around, explore and go for long walks. But also has a relaxed, snuggly side. He gets along well with other dogs and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, he may be a little too much for them. He’d do well in a family with children 12 years old and up due to his size—he could knock over smaller kids. Chowdere would love to live with an active family who will include him in their lives. A yard with a fence would be wonderful. So he can be the best family dog he can be, he’d like to go to positive-method training classes. He’s eager to learn! Rocky is a very sweet 6 year old Boxer/Pitbull mix. He is full of love, kisses and cuddles. He get a little anxious when he’s alone, so expect to see him everywhere you go. He is amazing with kids and other dogs, but should not be around cats or bunnies. Unfortunately we recently found out he has kidney disease, as his previous owners were neglectful and let a uti go too far. We love him so much, but are not able to put the time and money into vet visits as he deserves.
