Lizzy started looking in our back door. I thought she might be a neighbor's cat, but no one knows where she came from. I worried about her so I fed her and took her to the vet to discover she is about a year old, and she got her rabies shot. I brought her in and for a few weeks kept her separated from our cats till they got used to each other. She uses the cat box, and has good house manners and liked watching the Christmas tree. Our cats hated her and chased her at night. She asked to go back outside, and refuses to come in. I still feed her, and make her a bed in the garage in inclement weather, but we are relocating to to the northeast and it will be too cold there for her to live outside, and in our area there are bears, coyotes and bobcats, so it would not be safe for her to live outside at all. She is a sweet cat, gets along well with our dog and grandchildren, and did not start trouble with our cats, so she may get along with cat friendly cats.

Salem is a sweet adult cat who showed up in our yard and has lived on our deck ever since. He is approximately 2-4 years old and is one of the nicest cats we have met. He loves to play with our dog in the yard and lay in the sun. He also loves belly rubs! We are told by neighbors he gets along with their cats and even goes inside their houses! We would love to find him a great home to have him live inside full time. He has learned to use the litter box and we believe his transition to inside would be very easy! Salem is FIV+ and can live in homes with other cats as long as there is a proper introduction.
