Story

Tesla is 6 years old. We adopted Tesla when he was roughly 7 months old. He came up from somewhere in Alabama and had a rough life before he came to live with us. When we got him he was very shy and anxious around new people, places, and sounds. Over time he warmed up to people and became a very sweet and loving dog. That being said, his other anxieties have only increased and despite all my efforts he has a lot to work on. We are re-homing Tesla because his behavioral issues have become more than we are capable of managing or helping him with. It has been a painful and sad process to come to this decision but we believe he will be happier with someone who can spend the intensive one on one training time with him that will be necessary to help him overcome his extreme anxiety. When Tesla is not triggered or anxious about something all he wants to do is lay next to you with his head in your lap and receive pets. He is sweet and SO loving. Bandit is a 3-year-old mix who’s extremely affectionate, cuddly, and smart. She’s extremely well trained, and loves learning tricks. She doesn’t like other dogs, but as the only dog in a home she would thrive. She’s medium energy, and will play fetch until her legs fall off. She’s a love bug!

Story

Maizy was born in Tennessee in 2012 and we rescued her in the Fall of 2014. She has always been a very sweet dog. No matter who she has met she's loved them right away and will stay by your side as long as you want to pet her. Maizy is also a very loyal dog and immediately bonded with us. Friends and family are constantly telling us what a great and friendly dog she is. She is great with older kids and sweet with little ones too but gets excitable and likes to jump up. She is reactive to other dogs as well as cars during walks, so a big fenced in yard would be best for her. We love her so much and we think a new home, as hard as it will be, is the best thing for her.

Rey is a very sweet and loving dog that needs a home with her being the only dog. She loves to cuddle with her human and get all the attention by belly rubs. I have to rehome her because she doesn’t get along with my small dog (dachshund). She does get along with bigger dogs, so that would be an option. However, it can’t be a home with small dogs. I don’t have children myself, but I don’t think small children would be a good fit for her either. I am looking for someone who can give her the love and attention that she deserves!
