Story
This companion animals name is Aurora. Estimated to be born in July 2019, Aurora was a RED Last Chance for Life rescue from Texas, therefore not much is known about her past. She is guessed to be a Kelpie x Lab mix and is sweet, playful, and wants to please. Aurora is currently in foster care working on her crate training, leash skills, and basic obedience. She plays well with like-minded, kind dogs in playground. Mandatory fenced yard. No apartments. Some Condos and homes with a private use fenced yard maybe considered. Due to her playful puppy nature we are recommending no children under 10 years of age. Adoption donation for this companion animal is $400. Donations cover some of the care costs for R.E.D. animals. Like housing, supportive care, medical needs and food. All R.E.D. animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Most are micro chipped with adopter registration included. R.E.D. is a 501 C3 and all donations support our life saving missions. For more information and to complete the on line adoption application on R.E.D., please, see our website at www.rescueeverydog.org. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TO APPLY TO ADOPT: Not all applicants will be approved for requested animals. R.E.D. reserves the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation. R.E.D. requires all applicants and adopters to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. R.E.D. updates it animals adoption postings daily. All children must be behavior appropriate with animals. (4) R.E.D. does not a ship animals to out of state adopters. Meet adorable Aila! She is super sweet, extremely playful and such a friendly 3-year-old. Aila has the cutest ears! Her ear tips flip over backwards - just too darn cute!! Aila can be a little uncertain about new things, but she soon figures things out and gets comfortable. She loves to learn new things, especially if treats are involved. Aila will need a home without cats and she’d love another dog to play with and boost her confidence. Aila needs an adopter who works from home or is a stay home mom or not gone for long hours. She loves attention and needs another canine or human around her. Aila was rescued from South Korea by Greyhound Pets Inc in Woodinville and they are so happy they did! Aila loves her daily walks with the volunteers and she’d love to be your exercise partner. Aila rides well in a vehicle, and walks well on leash. She is vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed. Ready to meet this awesome and affectionate beauty?! Contact Kathy at kkreyling11@yahoo.com right away as you don’t want to miss out on all these great greyhound companions!

Story
Welcome Roo. He is a 15 or 16-month-old Kelpie/Shepherd mix dog. He is about 70 or 75 pounds. He is a big and energetic dog. He is great with other dogs and gets along well with all personalities. He loves all people as everyone is a potential playmate. He wants to play, run, walk and hike and would be an excellent companion for an active family. He is smart and ready to take direction and allow you to show him the ropes. He is motivated to please and will make a great running, jogging or hiking companion. He would also be fine as a family dog. Due to his energy and excitement, we think kiddos 10 or older would be his best fit. He could be to exuberant for the little tikes. He is currently in Texas and is healthy and ready for his new forever home. He was pulled off the euthanasia list in one of the local Texas pounds by Mandy and her family. He has been in foster care with other dogs and teenagers waiting for his forever family to find him. He would do great in a fenced yard to have area he can run and play. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to have him delivered to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to maudreyh@aol.com for an application. See his cute video!!

Story
Animal Profile:  Rio is a 1-year-old Texas Brown Dog (paperwork says Cattle Dog mix) that was originally adopted from Texas in August 2019. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good fit for the family, and Rio joined our rescue this winter in search of his forever home. Rio can be nervous with new people, places and things, but his foster family is dedicated to helping him overcome his insecurities so he can be a more balanced dog. He looks to the resident dogs for guidance, and we are looking for a home with a fellow canine companion for him to bond with. Rio is great with other dogs and loves to cuddle once he’s warmed up to you. In true herding dog fashion he does have an interest in chasing small animals and will do best in a home without cats. Rio is smart, food motivated, and eager to please once you have earned his trust. Our ideal home for Rio will have some herding breed experience and a willingness to help him continue to build his confidence through training and love. Since Rio can be nervous with quick movements and loud noises, he will do best in a home without children that's not in the city. Rio requires a securely fenced yard. Seattle Foster Update: Rio attended the Smooch a Pooch Wine Tasting event with 100 people and dozens of dogs and did great; he was nervous at first but made friends with several new people with treats. He watched all the action and handled it really well! We're so proud of his progress! Among our other outings, we've taken him to the beach, and he's a total beach dog! He loves going in the ocean, romping in the sand and running on the beach with us. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400. This includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, and health evaluation. Your donation fee may be tax-deductible. Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Story
Animal Profile: Tater is a 5.5 year old male mixed breed -- Australian Shepherd Cattle Dog mix (best guess) -- weighing approximately 58 lbs though he's overweight. He was adopted as a puppy but sadly his current owner has a 7-month-old baby and another dog and due to Tater's needs, we are working to find him a new home. Tater is a happy boy who loves meeting new people, loves to fetch and would thrive having a job. He lives with another dog but they have occasional fights (no vet care required) and given the new baby in the house, Tater needs a new home. After evaluation, we believe Tater's issues are likely exacerbated by lack of activity or "having a job" -- he would thrive with space to run and a family to call his own. Tater is 100% crate trained and house trained and knows basic obedience. He's food motivated and eager to please. Though he is leash reactive in the city he may do well with other animals off leash and with more exercise. As a bonus, this boy has the softest fur ever! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, and health evaluation. Your donation fee may be tax-deductible. Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Story
Meet Electra JC (she is one of our special needs dogs due to being deaf) Ever herd (yes spelled wrong purposely) ever herd of Chanel No. 5 parfum. Well, I’m going to make my own perfume line and call it *insert your name* No. 1 because you’ll be numba one in my book. I could sniff you all day and put a dab of your scent behind my ears and on my wrists, or I guess front ankles in my case. I do have to be upfront with you immediately and let you know that I am deaf. I do not react at all to loud sounds or strange noises. This is good news if you are the type of person who doesn’t like a yappy dog that alerts you to ever phantom sound, leaf drop or toad fart. I won’t annoy you. And don’t worry, scents I am a dog, my other scents are heightened compared to a human. I use my sniffer and my eyes to get along just fine. I know I am not quite lap sized, but I fancy myself a lap dog and a girl can do anything if she sets her mind to it. I LOVE LoVe LUV ADORE humans. I love spending time in the yard and when I see a random passerby, I don’t bork or guard the house, I would make a lousy guard dog. I run right up to the gate and set my ears back as a peace sign and wag my tail to wave hello hello new friend, please rub me, pat me, be my friend. I am 3 years old and about 30-35 pounds and potty trained. The ladies are guessing on my mix, but they went with Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix, because I have the shape of a pocket sized Shepherd, but I have tiny dots and freckles on my perky ears indicating that I might have some cow girl jeans….or genes….in my hairytage. I have been around other dogs for a long time. I am good around dogs that leave me alone and pay me no mind. I have a 2 foot imaginary bubble zone around me and I like for dogs to keep out of it. I am just not interested in playing with rumble and tumble fools. I am a gentle lady who prefers to spend my time right smack dab next to a human. I don’t have time for silly play. I don’t do toys either. Scents I enjoy being so close to humans. I do not enjoy being in the crate but Foster Mom is working on that and expects to get me accustomed to it. Foster Mom is also working on communicating with me by hand signals, as words just don’t work on ears that don’t work. I try hard to be a good girl. All I really long for is a home with LOVE, attention and a spot right next to you where I can curl up and cuddle. Basics: Electra JC GDR-A-3696- female, 3 years, 30-35 lbs, Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix, good with dogs that ignore her and really does not want to play or interact with canines, really more of a people person, very loving, wants to be a lap dog, Velcro dog, potty trained, working on crate training, special needs deaf GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website.
