Story
Red and her sibling, Kya, were dumped in the words south of Fort Worth. They wandered into a kind soul's front yard emaciated and severely dehydrated. He took them in, fed and watered them, and called us. It would be great if Red and Kya could be adopted together but it is not mandatory. If you think you might be interested in either one or both of these beauties email us at info@muttsandmittens.

Story
Winnie is a sweet goofy girl. She adores people and loves to be where you are. She has been through training and obeys basic commands. Winnie needs to be in a home with no other dogs and no cats. We are very sad to have to find her a new home, but she was the last pet to join our household and she does not get along with our other dogs. I know in a home where she is the only pet, she would really thrive.

Story
Iggy was born on Halloween 2017 in Bonham, Texas on a little ranch. He's very energetic and loving, and all for belly rubs and catching frisbees and balls. He needs a good home that will be able to have time to walk him and give him all the playtime and love he needs for such a hyperactive breed. He hasn't been socialized with other dogs or cats, but is friendly with people after a good ear scratching.

Story
Rosie is a 7 year old female mixed breed who has been with us since she was a puppy. She is very loving and loyal. She is fully house trained and well behaved...no temperament issues around kids or other dogs. She is roughly 45-50 pounds, was spayed as a puppy and is up to date on her vaccines. Rosie has some minor health issues, primarily a thyroid condition which requires daily medication, that have not been burdensome (it's very inexpensive to treat, something like $10 a month). She is a wonderful animal...the issue is us. We have since added two children and have both taken on careers that are extremely demanding. These choices have been unfair to Rosie. She isn't getting the walks, attention, and personal affection that I think she desperately needs and deserves. Some dogs are comfortable doing their own thing but Rosie craves more. Can you be the family that wants to / can give a good dog more energy and attentiveness?

Story
Princess Isabella Ellouise III, known as Bella is a total sweet heart! She loves jumping and chasing squirrels, cuddling and sleeps through the night in her crate. She loves sleeping in the bed, on the couch or under the sun. She’s amazing! We rescued her a year ago from the shelter on thanksgiving. So she is now a year and a half. She’s bonded with my border collie blue lacy mix named Heidi.
