Story
Winnie is a sweet goofy girl. She adores people and loves to be where you are. She has been through training and obeys basic commands. Winnie needs to be in a home with no other dogs and no cats. We are very sad to have to find her a new home, but she was the last pet to join our household and she does not get along with our other dogs. I know in a home where she is the only pet, she would really thrive.

Story
Coco is a sweet girl. She is energetic and loves to play. She is great with other dogs and kids. She is almost a year old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. We would love her to have a good home where some one has time to spend with her. She has been an outside dog for us but, she is smart and am sure she could be house trained very easily.

Story
Red and her sibling, Kya, were dumped in the words south of Fort Worth. They wandered into a kind soul's front yard emaciated and severely dehydrated. He took them in, fed and watered them, and called us. It would be great if Red and Kya could be adopted together but it is not mandatory. If you think you might be interested in either one or both of these beauties email us at info@muttsandmittens.

Story
Dillon is a 5 year old mini Aussie that weighs 33 pounds. We don’t know much about Dillon’s past, but his body tells us that he has not always been cared for. Dillon came to Saving Hope still recovering from a severe case of mange. His ears were both infected and are permanently deformed from having hematomas that were left untreated. He also desperately needed a dental and tooth extraction. On top of all of this Dillon has a spinal compression that unfortunately has likely caused some nerve damage. He is on medication that keeps him 100% comfortable and most importantly happy! He will need to stay on the medication for the rest of his life which costs about $100 a month. Because of the compression Dillon does have some minor mobility issues that are easily managed. He cannot do stairs (one or two like on a porch are ok) so will need an adopter with a single level home. He is also unable to jump, so adopter MUST be able to lift him (for example, in and out of the car or up/down a flight of stairs). Smooth flooring, such as tile or wood, sometimes is difficult for him so a home with carpet/rugs or the ability to put small rugs on “trouble spots” is ideal.Even with everything Dillon has been through he is the SWEETEST and always happy! He takes some time to warm up, but once he’s comfortable he just wants to be loved on. His favorite place to be is the dog bed closest to wherever his foster mom is. He has recently discovered dog toys and loves to toss them around! Dillon is dog friendly and would be happiest with another dog of similar activity level in the home. He is also cat friendly - he ignores the cats in his foster home. Dillon is not a fan of car rides, but he’s content to stay home.Dillon is house and crate trained, but probably would do fine not crated. He does need to stay on a feeding/potty schedule or he sometimes has #2 accidents in his crate. As long as he stays on schedule he is 100% good - he’s never had an accident in the house. Dillon isn’t able to wag his tail but this boy loves to talk when he gets excited! ##496490##

Story
Iggy was born on Halloween 2017 in Bonham, Texas on a little ranch. He's very energetic and loving, and all for belly rubs and catching frisbees and balls. He needs a good home that will be able to have time to walk him and give him all the playtime and love he needs for such a hyperactive breed. He hasn't been socialized with other dogs or cats, but is friendly with people after a good ear scratching.
