He’s name is Oreo. He is almost 3 years old. He is very sweet and lovely. We really wanted to keep him , but I have really busy schedules. I worked more than 40 hours a week and I live by myself. Please say hello to Texas Winter, aka Winnie. Winnie is an outgoing and assertive girl and she is very affectionate. She is spayed, current on immunizations and on preventatives. Winnie is great at meeting new people as long as it is in a calm and polite manner. When frustrated or overly excited, she will get mouthy to other dogs or people, but is quickly & easily corrected when given clear verbal cue. She does well with men, women and children over 12. She is selective about dogs and is not good with small animals due to a high prey drive which is in her DNA. Winnie is an energetic and active girl and needs an active household. She would do great in herding, agility or other activities. Like most Aussies, she requires mental stimulation and physical activity every day. Winnie has a strong toy drive and is protective of her food. She is crate trained and house broken. She knows her basic commands such as sit, stay, down and recall. She is currently being fostered with a trainer who is working on her impulse/ behavior. Bugsy is a rambunctious teenager!! He's very young and needs someone who can give him a SAFELY contained place to run and play. He can be a little too pushy with other dogs, but for the most part he's a big baby with a lot of energy to spare. Bugsy needs someone with experience in extremely high energy dogs. A training class would do him a lot of good, but he does know sit. No four foot fences! He can scale one in a heart beat, but he has never tried to get out of his six foot kennel or my six foot wooden fence.

Poppy a beautiful 2 year old border collie mix. She is so sweet and has made huge strides in trusting people and learning hands coming toward her are for pets and love. She is loving toys and getting used to her routine. She loves other dogs and hanging out on the couch with all her toys. Crate trained. Loves other dogs...all of them. Not scared to be left alone. It will take some time for her to warm up but once she does she is a love bug wanting lots of hugs, rubs and kisses. She is about 30 pounds. This poor baby girl. Humans were not kind to her before Dogrrr. She cringed even if she thought you might try to touch her. When you would touch her she froze. With patience and love this girl has learned to trust humans. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax = $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect. NOTES FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Piper is the sweetest most loving dog! She walks great on a leash, and loves to go on walks! She loves to ride in the car and to play fetch with a ball. Great with older kids. She is totally potty trained and learning to ring the bell to go outside. Crate trained. She knows basics commands like sit and stay. Being a herding dog mix, she can tend to be a little nippy, so not recommended with very young children.
