Story
Meet Ember! She is part of a bonded pair so, if you love Ember, you must love her sister, too. They are around 2 years old and are looking for a home together because these girls are sisters and best friends...2 of the closest siblings we’ve ever met! English Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie – we are not sure which it is but these girls have some sort of herding breed in their mix. Megz and Ember were abandoned at a boat ramp in the country. They lived there for at least 3 months. Megz would greet boaters while shy Ember hid in the shadows. Ember is not as brave as Megz but she is just as sweet and loving! She prefers to let her sister take the lead then joins in once she sees that Megz is comfortable. Ember is great on leash and has a gentle, quiet personality. She loves hiking, playing with dogs, cats and people and relaxing with her friends. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations and preventives. BEFORE YOU EMAIL: Ember is in Tennessee. Story
Kringle is a handsome mostly blind male Australian Shepherd who was found with his brother Kris, wondering in a small rural area of Tennessee.  We think that Kringle can see light and shadows and he seems to be quite comfortable with his limited eyesight and ready to find someone who can work with smoothing out his personal dog manners and ability to live a great life.  He would be find in a home with another dog but you would need to monitor his exuberance from time to time.   Kringle is a 1-2 year old 50 pound boy that is handsome, affable, and has that joie de vivre that makes you smile as soon as you see him.  He is s in a foster home and she would keep him but he is just giving her cat a run for her money.  The foster is working with him on manners and such and he is progressing nicely.   But the cat issue is keeping her from allowing him to stay for life.  We are looking someone with a fenced yard and no cats! Even though we think he can see large shapes, movement, and light/shadow, he does still run into things occasionally, so potential adopters will need to understand that their homes will need to be adapted for him (covering sharp corners, keeping the floor clear, etc.), and outdoor playtime will need to be supervised.   He is very adaptable and a happy boy.  Could you make his life even happier and much better by giving him a way out of the shelter life?  Please email us at ccrtennesseee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
