Animal Profile:  Rupert is about a year old, Irish terrier mix (best guess) who weights around 50 pounds. He will be joining us from California on 3/29. Our volunteer transporter reports that he is super sweet and gentle, but still a little shy. He will need slow interactions. Rupert will do well with another dog in the home to show him the ropes. We will post more info as we get to know him! *** We will only consider applications with a friendly resident canine in the home *** Seattle Foster Update: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application About Foster to Adopt Program:  Fosters provide a safe landing spot for dogs transitioning from the shelter environment and help prepare the dogs for adoption. You provide the love and structure, and we take care of everything else! We cover all vet care, and drive the adoption process. Average length of foster is 2-3 weeks.
